After two and a half years of soul searching and a lot of writing on the quiz/story site, Quizilla!, I have finally come to join the masses here on FictionPress.com. I thought it would be best if I bettered my skills before jumping into the mass of stories I've been planning for quite some time in both the little world inside my head and on a Microsoft Word document on my trusty Sony Vaio laptop and Dell desktop.
:The Girl:
As I stated above, I took about a two and a half year trial period writing original and fanfiction works on the quiz/story site Quizilla! so that I could better myself in several rather juvenile problem areas that, now, I have a better handle on. I'm not a very interesting person to be perfectly honest. I am a horsewoman and have been since before I could fully walk. I currently help rehabilitate abused and/or neglected horses and I have to say that it has become a big part of my life over the last year or so that I have had the pleasure in volunteering my time. I believe myself to be a fairly decent writer in some respects. I say that because, for the life of me, some genres I simply cannot write (action being one of them). I am a hopeless romantic (which, really, isn't the best thing). My standards I set for myself, while they are high, are nothing compared to the standards I set for others who attempt to befriend me. I do not trust easily and it always amazes me to see the sorts of people who care enough about me (or, in some cases, want to befriend me so badly) to try and get through what I classify as my slightly ridiculous barriers.
As far as blood goes, I am a proud hybrid of the Greek and Irish cultures and a devote follower of the Catholic faith. I am open to any religion and respect those who follow a different path than I. I have friends who are from just about every ethnic and religious background that exists and I love each and every one of them with all my heart. I have an open mind and if anyone ever wishes to discuss anything with me just message me up. I promise not to bite. Though I am half Greek, I carry the Irish features heavily in my appearance. I have very fair skin, dark brown (really, you could classify them as black) eyes, and a mixture of dark auburn and dark brown hair. I do plan to attend college in the fall of 2008 but I am undecided in my major as of the moment. I would love to be a full time author but I know that, realistically, I have to bring in a steady paycheck.
I am rather spastic in my behavior on the computer. There are instances where I will be on a good amount of time updating rather frequently and then there are my moments when I drop off the face of the Earth and go missing from the Internet for several months. I have another account of FanFiction.net under the same penname so, once I get it up and running, I would love for some of my fans from here to perhaps scamper over and check out my fanfiction works of literature.
