REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW ... I do a LOT of reviews. I appreciate feedback on the stories posted. I'm always hoping to improve my writing, style, grammar, and understand the interests of the readers. When you leave a review - mention what you'd like reviewed in return. THANK YOU
I love writing. I delight in Romance. I cherish Relationships. I am committed to Christ. I value life, equality of all people, inclusiveness, and justice. These things are reflected in my writing.
Once a contest caught my eye. I turned it into a personal challenge. Writing within the guidelines provided: 1. Original Fiction; 2. Dramatic premise containing elements of Romance & Humor; 3. In English; 4. Under 1000 words I extended it to include TEN stories in Thirty days. I only wrote eight, shared them with friends and professionals, and entered one. I didn't win the contest, but I did learn. Harsh editing can be a gift, many words are not needed, research into a subject is critical.
Simple Wisdom, The Watchers, Dangerous Assumptions, Red Delicious, Alyssa's Angel, Ice Cream Man, Wake Up Call, and Twilight are the stories I completed for the contest and am putting up here for your entertainment. Admittedly some I like much better than others.
RollerBlades is another Humor/Romance one-shot, just for the fun of it.
Contentment is romance one-shot.Very sweet and still in love.
Blessing In Disguise is a one-shot intended to be Romance but became more Faith oriented.
One Shot ... or Two is a weird supernatural romance/humor/angst short story. Not sure how to describe it.
A Break in the Monotony is a Short Story - Four chapters - Complete - that I wrote because I wanted to write a MarySue, and somehow, she proved me wrong.
Six is a horror/supernatural something or another and it is a work in progress... ...but it's gonna be SO good!!
Waif in the Wind is a Fantasy in progress with an all-knowing very pretentious narrator.
