Hello, my name is Rose and I enjoy writing. I will be posting some of my poems here and there is a possibility of me posting an actual story here (but not for quite a while). If you want to read any of my other published work its on fanfiction(dot)net under rosenotrosie. Most of what I post here will be things that I would never allow anyone who knows me personally to see due to content reasons for the most part (some will be suicidal, some deal with rape, some are just kind of wierd). Despite the content of my poems please note that I AM NOT SUICIDAL, A RAPE OR MOLESTATION VICTIM, OR MENTALLY INSANE I just happen to deal with these subjects every so often in my own reading and kind of spring-board off them.
Now that I have done my personal disclaimer (no soy loco!) I can do a bit about me:
As previously stated, my name is Rose and I enjoy writing. I write poetry, short stories, and the occasional essay. My favorite color is green (it's also the color of my eyes, one of the few things I really like about my body) and I have no favorite band, book, or food; I simply like too wide of a variety there to try and pick one. I am seventeen years old and I am five feet four inches tall. My brother, who is two years younger than me, is about five ten and has not stopped teasing me about this since it happened. I happen to be bisexual, but a large chunk of my writing will include male, homosexual couples and the occasional female, homosexual couple or heterosexual couple. While I do not have any serious mental disorders, I happen to enjoy being garden variety bat shit loca. I do speak and write Spanish, but I'm no where near good enough to do more than have the occasional Spanglish or Spanish speaking character in my stories (A mi me gusta español, pero no hablo tan bueno y por eso no escribo mucho en español porque tengo vergüenza.) I do not really speak any Japanese but I know a phrase or two and will occasionally use them but I always will include a translation somewhere in the story (usually in parenthesis right by it).
I have a myspace but I don't ever use it so if it's terribly important to talk to me just send me a message here, off fanfic, or through my e-mail (rosenotrosie(at)yahoo(dot)com) and it should only take me a day or two to get back to you.
My policy on reviewing is that I will always like getting a good review even if it is just "I like the story/poem. -ladida." I will always respond well to legitimate criticism; this means that telling me my story/poem sucks becase of something like the characters' sexualities is unacceptable and I will report you. I will also report in the case of what I deem as flaming, it is not an acceptable thing to do and it really does show immaturity because one of the first things you are supposed to learn as a child is propriety. If you are older than ten years of age then I expect you to be able to have developed this sense of propriety enough not to flame.
