Author has written 3 stories for Romance, and Young Adult. Wonderful news! Being Jamie Baker is in the process of being PUBLISHED! I have to say thank you to all the wonderful fictionpress readers who've supported Jamie from the beginning. If it weren't for the response I received on here I might not have tried to pursue publishing. It is a smaller company and I'll be responsible for most of my own marketing, so I'm going to need all the help I can get from you in spreading the word. If you loved the book, or any of my other work, become a fan of Being Jamie Baker on facebook or friend me on myspace and then help me spread the word! I don't have an exact release date yet, but it's looking like late winter/early spring, and the website isn't quite up and running yet either, but it will be soon, so watch out and I'll keep you updated! Thanks again for all the support, and especially thanks for everyone who voted for Jamie and Ryan's super-kiss at the SKOW awards!! They came home with runner-up and I was thrilled!! Just a little about me: I took up writing stories when I quit working to stay home with my children. It started first as an answer to boredom, but quickly turned into one of my favorite hobbies. My brain has always been a lot more creative than technical, and telling stories was the perfect outlet for that! I started by writing fan fiction of all things, but the more I learned about writing, and the more I practiced, I felt the need to create my own characters. Mostly I'm just a little bit of a control freak and liked having a world that was entirely my own, where anything I say goes. (Of course I quickly learned that once you create characters, they take on a life of their own and it's more like anything they say goes!) | |||||||||
