I'm a student with an odd obsession for ferrets and writing. As such the latter will mostly be about the former (beats vampires!). And you don't see too many ferret related stories.

I don't like to go too heavy like some people do in fantasy, just writing about evil overlords and stuff. Fantasy worlds don't all have to be about elves, castles, kingdoms, and big speeches in convoluted archaic language. I just write what I'd like to read, and try not to make my works something they aren't. And I'm always happy to read stuff if you want and comment/review etc or offer ideas. Just ask. Final Ferretsy (Being revised, redone chapter 1 now up)

Basically Final Ferretsy's a fantasy story revolving around ferrets and the different stories of people in the world of Feregana, but mainly centering on Stefi and her companions trying to save the world (a big cliche, I know, but hopefully that's the worst of them). It starts out with Stefi finding two ferrets abandoned in the forest, and with them the ability to talk to them. They tell her of a disturbance in their world of Feregana and that the Feretos, part human, part ferret beings may be able to help. She teams up with Rajahk, the last of the dog-like Otsukushi race; Samsonis, a Kalkic human tortured by his own grief and hatred; Ifaut, a naive and obsessive Feretos from the Mafouras kingdom; and Cedes, a blind albino Feretos who can see parts of the future. But what she doesn't know is that the truth behind her gift can restore order, or end the Ferrets' dream forever...

No vampires, werewolves, elves, dwarves, dragons, medieval settings, knights, maniacally laughing mustache-twirling villains who want to rule the world, and other such traditional fantasy staples. I try to keep it as original as I can. Well, there's one "bad guy" but even the main heroes barely know about "him".

Hearts of Minhera (Temporary hiatus)

Minhera, a lost island where peace between humans and Feretos existed until the wrath of Shizak sent it beneath the waves.
Varan, a male Feretos and Irina, a Kalkic human female struggle to find their way from their ruined home to a new land. And maybe, just maybe, their experiences can teach the people of Feregana how to live in harmony. Unfortunately, they both know they will never live to see the coming of the Fereka. But maybe their legacy of hope will.
