Updates ...
Okies. So I'm seriously trying to get out of this writer's block phase. I'm forcing out about a page a day, which really isn't all that much, and it's REALLY forced, and therefor I don't like it so much. The worst part about all of this is that I have all of these ideas for new stories floating around in my head that I just don't feel like writing down. So I have a bunch of intro paragraphs followed up by brief outlines. It's kind of cluttered right now :D
Anywho, I started a new story, A Faerie Tale. It's set in the same world as The Newest Traveler, later on down the road. They're not really related, but it's the same world, same history, blah, blah. I also have a couple of other stories in mind that I have started, but I don't know when I'll decide to work on them. Guess we'll see!
And everyone should go check out the stories of my friend, Cherri (withluvcherri). She's a very good writer and is just getting her feet wet here on fictionpress. Please help her along!

Choosing Packs: Torn Loyalties
Jennifer, a senior in high school, gets into a fight with her mom about who she (the mother) is about to marry. She runs away with every intent to return home sometime the next day, just trying to make a point like any other teenager.
Instead, she ends up getting attacked by a wild wolf and saved by another wild wolf. She passes out, whether due to blood loss or surprise no one knows. Then she goes through a phase of partial lucidness as she tries to recover. When she finally wakes up for real, she find out that she's a ... duh duh duuhn! A werewolf! Because no one saw it coming at all, right?
As she tries to fit in with the pack, she runs into all sorts of problems. Especially since she's a girl, and the other six members are all guys.

Problem: Now she's a werewolf.

Choosing Packs: Going Public
Jenny has fallen into a nice rhythm in her new life as the alpha wolf of the Canton pack, but she has yet to choose her mate. Should she pick Jeremy or Sylvan? The one who created her or the one who trained her? She loves them both, and she's afraid of losing one if she chooses the other.
On top of that problem, a reporter has started poking around in her life. When he realizes that things don't fall as nicely into place as people would like them to, he starts asking uncomfortable questions, threatening to reveal the secret that the Canton pack as so carefully kept.

Problem: He is threatening to reveal the pack's real identity while she struggles to choose a mate.
Supernatural Problems
Natalie Jacobson starts seeing a strange figure in the back yard. After a few days, she discovers that he is a ghost, but no one will believe her when she mentions him. Determined to figure out what is going on, Natalie starts poking around online. When she finds a website for the supernatural, she gets skeptical. A man claims to be a vampire, and she insists that he must be crazy.
Until he shows up at her door and takes her away with him.
Then things start getting really strange. Something isn't right about young Natalie, and together she and her vampire captor kidnapper piece together exactly what she is, since she certainly isn't a mere human.

Problem: Jacob wants to use her to pay off his debt.
Vampire Princess
When a gamble risks more than he can afford, he agrees to pay back his debt in eigtheen years. But when those years have passed and the man comes to collect his dues, the gambler changes his mind. The stranger looks exactly the same as he had at their last encounter, and now instead of money he wants his daughter Elaina.

Problem: 'Master' Nicholas Ansley wants her to actually behave.
Rule Number One: Don't Fall for the Hunter
I will admit, this idea kinda surprised me. It seemed to come out of nowhere, though my friends think otherwise. They all know exactly what I read though, and I think they like to look for similarities just to bother me.
Anywho, the main charrie's name is Jasmine, and she's a reporter by day, vampire hunter by night. Carlo is a vampire who claims to be on the run, and he becomes her next target until he convinces her that he was framed. Together they work to remove themselves of the vampire out to get the both of them.
Who: Jasmine Sarla
What: Finds her sister's friend's dead body and hunts down the supposed killer
Meets: Carlo
Problem: Carlo is being set up by the same vampires who want to kill Jasmine.
The Newest Traveler
So this is something I had been planning on publishing until I realized that I really didn't like the writing as much as I thought I did. I've gotten a lot better since this one, I think, but I'd REALLY like feedback. Hopefully I can manage to spice it up enough now and make it nice and pretty.
Kaleena was an agent at the Regional Supernatural Control (RSC), where she hunt down and brought in the trouble-causing supernaturals plaguing the Cincinnati area. Then she gets sent on a job that changes her life. Botis the demon had apparently been causing problems, and she was given the case. When she confronts him, he gets the best of her and manages to kill her, sending her to the Realm of the Dead. There she learns that she is an extremely special case, and that she's really there so that she can save the world (all parts of it) from self-destruction. But in order to fulfill her apparent mission, she must first find the elusive man behind the scenes.

What: Gets killed by Botis the demon
Meets: Botis, Nialen, and a bunch of dead people
Problem: She is now the only one who can do anything about the overflow of the Realm of the Dead.
A Faerie Tale
When the Seelie and Unseelie courts have a bit of a misunderstanding (again), Niamh, the Unseelie princess next in line for the throne, agrees to go out into the human world to make her point. Daniel, on the other hand, is a senator's son, absolutely spoiled, and sick of his life. He meets Niamh in his hated political science class, and soon begins to see what his father likes about politics. If only his father didn't have views completely opposite of his own.

What: Hates his life
Meets: Niamh
Problem: His father disagrees with his decision to fight for fae rights.
Tanning Oil
This one was actually inspired by a sister of a friend. Talk about a learning experience. shakes head. Anyway, it's just a story about a girl trying to get a tan. It's one of my few attempts at a short story. You should check it out and let me know what you think. I would definitely appreciate any tips for improvement!
A Most Unwilling Familiar
One of my first short stories. I don't think it's all that good, but I've been told by many that I'm not giving myself enough credit. I dunno. I just don't like writing short stories. Something about the condense plot just gives me a hard time. This one's about a girl who agrees to be a witch's familiar in exchange for her brother's freedom. Kinda strange, but right up my alley. Constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated on this one!
An Alien of a Different Kind
In ancient Macedonia, the humans aren't exactly at the top of the food chain. A strange kind of alien plagues them, killing people for food. Are they really monsters or are they just misunderstood? Again, tips appreciated! I know it's short :)
