Author has written 1 story for Young Adult. Hey everyone! I'm Tasha. Anyways, I found out about this site through FanFictionPress.com, and I love to write, so I decided to check it out. I posted a story on here, but I'm still working on it, and it's taking me longer than I expected, but I need it to be perfect, so I'm constantly going back to edit it and it's making me a bit crazy. I always have a thing about finishing what I started, but with stories, it's never that way. I always have random ideas popping into my head and then BAM there goes a different story, plus I tend to get a lot of writers block. I'm currently 15 years old and I live in NY. I used to live in the city, but now I'm out in the "Boondocks" as I like to call it. I'm supposedly going to one of the top 100 schools in the country, but I don't really believe the hype. It's a normal school, normal teachers and kids who do stupid kids stuff. I have a great time though, chilling with friends, going into local drug stores and singing and dancing to the cards that come with music inside of them, being in the school play, taking a crap load of AP courses because I want to get my ass into Oxford, but other than that, life's pretty damn normal. lolz I have a story that I've been working on for a year now and it's called "Letting go (it's harder than you think)" and it's about two different people. A teenage boy and a teenage girl who come from different worlds. The boy, a not-so-nice neighborhood in Queens, NY and the girl, a wealthy neighborhood in Queens, NY. They both deal with issues within their families and the two of them are thrown together during a school project and have to deal with each other. They learn that the grass isn't always greener on the other side and they learn that everyone has their own set of issues and problems. It talks about rape, teenage pregnancy, gangs, addiction, but it also talks about love, friendship and trust. I'm currently working on another one because I just really think it's a cool idea. It's in third person omniscient, but the main character is 17 year-old girl who seems perfect on the outside, but is dealing with a whole lot of problems inside. She's the IT Girl at school and everyone wants to be her, her friends think that she's got the perfect life because she's got money and she's absolutely gorgeous. The thing that they don't know is that the money she has at home isn't well and hard earned money. No one knows that, until a boy from school finds out and he tries to get inside her head to figure her out, since she's such an enigma. At first she can't stand him with his cocky attitude, but she soon goes to him for solace and that's when they start to get closer. If only things were that easy. Throw in crazy mothers, 6 year-old brothers and some intense fighting scenes and you got yourself this story. That's it! Hope you guys are interested. | |||||||||
