HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! :)

Sooooooo like I don't usually write romances... but this time I just hadddd to do it! I hope you like Secret Stalker. There's also She Sabotaged My Suicide Attempt, a one-shot. How He Killed Me is also another one-shot... and there's a few other ones floating out there. I consider myself in the writing world foremost a novelist, then poetess, then a one-shotter, then someone who can just write in general. There's also the series "Vivie's Curse," beginning with Solid Ground. I started the Color Power Romances, but they're not up yet. The first title is Love at First Sight. I have yet to get to typing it. I'm about two stories behind on my own writing on average- summer wasn't enough time to completely catch up, in fact, summer probably just made things worse. Oh well. There are a few poems scattered around too. Basically, I love a little bit of everything and hate cussing... God, writing, and music (and math-for-fun) are my everything! But I always like to try something new! Please enjoy :D

I do a lot of beta-reading, mostly for grammar. I am the Grammar Nazi. I am not joking- hence the fact that nearly everything in my profile is perfectly spelt, with perfect grammar and everything. I can be a little nerdy about it. I can be a little mean about it. Deal with it. That's the way it is. I'm trying to help you. I honestly try to only change what is necessary and retain your style as much as possible. If you have bad grammar and your story isn't interesting, I stop reading it and never tell you. If you have bad grammar but an interesting story, I offer to beta for you BECAUSE IT'S GOOD. If you have an interesting story with okay grammar, I still ask to beta it sometimes because I like to help. Just a little bit about me and my beta fun. Yes, that was bad grammar. Sorry, it was kind of necessary.

As for my credentials, if a high-schooler editing a 450-page plus dissertation doesn't count, I don't know what does. I don't know about you, but I don't know anymore people my age that have done that successfully. Sure, it was my dad's dissertation, but still- I found tons of things to help him reword and fix. My point is, if I tell you to fix grammar, it probably does need to be fixed. Even grown people agree with me- OLD grown people that are published authors, maybe not extremely famous, but published all the same. (Not trying to call my dad old, just saying.) Basically, I know what I'm doing. My dad's professor was very impressed when he heard that I edited it and said that I did a good job- so yeah, again, if that doesn't count for something, I don't know what does! But I definitely have tons of experience!

If I don't favorite your story, don't feel bad. It's only because I refuse to favorite a story until it's completely done. I don't know why, that's just how I am. That's why most of the stories on my favorites are one shots... at the moment, I'm actively betaing for three awesome stories- Succulent by shakey, Diagnosed With Love by Chu-Chi Bear, and Second Impressions by WalksWithWolves. I'm doing a lot of them on the side as well, but those are the three that I don't have to go after, force them to update, yell at, etc. I love them. :D. Betaing is very fun for me. When they finish their stories, they will most certainly go on my favorites. But again, favorites = only when it's COMPLETE. Sorry for being a party pooper.

About me: I am a pastor's kid. I am proud to admit it because I am proud of my father. Not just anyone can be a successful pastor like he is. My mother is a piano teacher, which accounts for me playing the piano, violin, and guitar. I can kind of play the viola, cello, harmonica, recorder, and flute as well. I am a very well-rounded person- at least, I think so and so do most others that know me. The three things that I fail at in life, however, are art, athletics, and eating spicy food. Otherwise, I'm unstoppable and on the go. I'm a realist, a conscientious person, and I am super task-oriented. It annoys the heck out of people. I say deal with it.

I will not read slashes. Yes, I understand the psychology of the gay. (Talk to me about it if you want to.) I understand why people are gay. I know that it can be fixed. I don't believe that it is morally right, but I believe that any other sin that is committed is just as sinful as homosexuality and therefore no one has the right to condemn them. I heard the testimonies of real people who have changed because of God. I am not a judgmental Christian. Granted, I am a judgemental person at times, but who isn't? I don't think that I am any better than anyone else- I've done my bad things, I've made my mistakes, and I don't judge people for theirs. I always look into the psychology of it and I try to understand them. I'm the "read-up-about-it, intellectual" type. Basically, I don't believe things without proof, I always have to have it in order to distinguish between right or wrong and what-not. Also for the Christian people that are out there, we cannot continue to shun homosexuals. They are real people that have just sinned in a different way because of the environment they grew up with. Our "little" sins aren't any better, no matter what we think. We are still screwed up human beings, and we all need to realize that- even me, because I'm not perfect. But I'm not here to push God on you- only God can change your life, not me. I hope to just live out my love to God through my writing, even through subtle hints here and there. I always have substance in my writing, even if it's in the lame humor, even if it's in the shocking things that happen. There is substance and there is God in everything I write. If you don't like it, don't read my religious stories. But almost everything on here is something you can read even if you're not a Christian and take away something from it. Again, that's why I write- for everyone that reads what I write to get something from it.

My favorite color is purple because it is. I also like light colors. I can be very pessimistic and optimistic at the same time, but I only find hope in Jesus my savior. I am a nondenominational Christian- not because of my parents, but because I genuinely love God. I am 100 percent Asian but very pale. A lot of Asians have told me that I am the palest Asian ever and I have big eyes for an Asian as well. I do have double-lids- my whole family does. I also have naturally straight teeth and have never needed braces. People always hurt me for saying that. I love my family to death and my two brothers especially. They shaped me to be the tomboy, crazy person I am today. You have to thank them for everything I have ever written- because believe me, they have had their influences. I am very active in church. I play piano on Sundays for the first-sixth graders and sometimes I will lead worship on Friday for my youth group. I am a song writer. I do not post my songs on fiction press because they are very... I don't know. They're my babies. Sure, my novels are my babies too, but this is different. I would hate for anyone to plagiarize my songs- well, I don't want people plagiarizing anything I write, but songs are even more special to me. If someone steals my song and makes their rhythm and tune out of it... I'm not sure if I can take that. Novels are a little easier to see when someone plagiarizes them... but yes, I also write poetry (a little too personal to put on fictionpress most of the time) and of course I write. Writing is my life. Well, and music, but heh, writing comes first right now. I am still in high school (I will not tell you how old I am, I'm not stupid) and I have various screennames, involving justsillyme (made up in sixth grade), rub1xcubez (I can solve the Rubik's Cube, Rubik's Revenge, Professor's Cube, V-cube seven aka a seven by seven, which I learned very recently and Rubik's Magic- obsessed much?), and PK4evr (self-explanatory from the first thing under this section.) I have a FanFiction account too but I only have it to build on the Vivie's Curse series. I have edited and replaced things in Solid Ground and Spring Leaves. They have been edited and all and now is a very good time to read them. Horizon Aflame is the third book and I'm adding to it...

I am complicated and hard to figure out. I am not an open person (despite what you might think from what you read above) and you'll have to deal with it. If you want to get to know me, read what I've written. It's the most you're going to get. I am spontaneous and random and a lot of people do not appreciate my wit. I hope that you do because it's injected throughout my stories, especially through certain characters.

So who is my favorite character that I have ever made up? It's a tie between Vivianne Angelina Rivercreek (Vivie), Samantha Karleigh Shay (Sammie), Jude Schultz, and Zacchary Mitchell Dutchforth (Zacch). I picked the two girls because they are most like me and I picked the guys because they are hilarious. Well, Luke Farrior is pretty annoying too, but he's not as great as Jude and Zacch... anyway, feel free to enjoy (but not plagiarize!) anything below this huge ramble box. :).

Oh yeah and by the way if you want to borrow a story idea (NOT PLAGARIZE!) please tell me first so I don't freak out... thanks :)

The links to the stories I'm betaing for if you're looking for good romances with good grammar that deserve to be read because they're responsible about updating:

Succulent by shakey: http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2708105/1/Succulent
Diagnosed with Love by Chu-Chi Bear: http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2716465/1/Diagnosed_With_Love

What's next? Just Chill because Jordyn needs a girl. That's my project for November 2009. He Called Me Beautiful will be written slowly but surely, and be prepared to wait forever between updates. I just wrote its first chapter and I'm happy with it. We'll see how it turns out. But for now, it's going to be put off to the side...

Wow this box is long... again, please enjoy! -JSM (Feel free to call me that, I know that "Just Silly Me" is long. Oh yeah, and why is the word "abbreviation" so long? Just saw that on a sign the other day. Oh well. Thanks for visiting and reading my profile page!)
