There is no such thing as free time.
Free time happens when you're dead.
bluestocking BLOO-stock-ing (noun): a woman having intellectual or literary interests
Things that describe me:
-Normal people scare me. (What's the fun in being normal, anyway?)
-I'm not happy unless I have a good, long book to read...and another one waiting for me when I'm done with the first.
-I don't suffer from insanity--I enjoy every minute of it.
-I love quotes. (Look below to find some.)
-I listen to music all of the time. I'm probably going to ruin my iPod before its time is supposed to be up but that can't really be helped. Right now I'm listening to "Face Down" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (one of my favorite song--I strongly suggest that you check it out)...whoops it just changed to "All Around Me" by Flyleaf (another extremely good song).
-I hate whoever said that people only need eight hours of sleep a night. I'm thinking it's more like ten or twelve. Or maybe I just need to start going to bed before midnight each night...
-I laugh when I'm in intense pain. Like, hysterical laughter which, you know. Eventually leads to sobbing uncontrollably.
-I'm considered a nerd just because I like writing, online writing sites like FP, and because I always have my nose in a book.
-I need another bookshelf.
-I am not popular but I have some really good friends.
-I like almost any kind of music; '80's, pop, hip-hop, a little bit of rap, alternative, punk, dance, electronica, metal, new age, a tiny, tiny bit of R&B and reggae, rock, soundtracks, children's music, etc.
-I dress comfortably--not to impress.
-I dance. Oraganized dancing. (I've tried dancing at parties and...well, I don't think it was very pretty.) I don't like it as much anymore but I don't hate it enough to quit. I do tap and baton.
-I'm a school band geek. I play piano, trumpet, and any kind of mallet percussion. Music is what I like most in life.
-I can watch a movie/read a book over and over again. And I'm not talking about seeing a movie on day and then watching it again a couple of months later. No, I'm saying that I can be staring at the end credits and then hit play and watch it all over again.
-You still don't know me and probably never will.
Other strange things and quotes:-Never take life seriously--no one gets out alive anyway.
-"I wear my sunglasses at night..." Ha-ha. I love that song.
-Nothing is sound
-Back off...I have a baseball bat.
-"The shadow proves the sunshine" Another amazing song by the way.
-"So you call this your free country? Then tell me why it costs so much to live." -Duck and Run
-"Now they show you how detergents take out bloodstains on TV, that's a pretty violent image there. I think that if you've got a T-shirt with a bloodstain all over it, maybe laundry isn't your biggest problem. Maybe you should get rid of the body before you do the wash."-Jerry Seinfeld
-" I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by." -Douglas Adams
-"'Welcome to my world,' she said. 'Do you feel alive?'" -Down Poison
-"I'm obnoxious...and unpopular..." -J.A.
-"Colonel Mustard called. He said, "Get a Clue!" -That 70's Show
Go ahead and drop me a line if you feel like it. Just don't expect me to write back if I feel that you're going to come and kill me in the night with a rusty knife...Just warning you.Yours truly,
-bluestocking
