Hello!

My name is Katie and I'm a 25 year old aspiring author who began writing only a few months ago in November of 2007. I hope to someday be published, but I know that I have a lot of work ahead of me before I can accompish that enormous task! My main project that I'm currently working on is a novel called Hybrid.

Hybrid Summary

Sixteen year old Lily Parker was just an average suburban Junior in high school who has a bad habit of listening in on other people’s conversations. Eavesdropping one evening, she learns about a secret which thrusts her into a world she never knew existed – at least not in her version of reality. In this world, she finds out the truth about her parents’ past and her ex-best friend, Mark Slater’s present. Will the two become friends again despite the laws of nature? Will they band together against an ancient group of vampire supremacists? Will they prevail and if so, at what cost?
