Pen Name (by no means her real name): InkySwear (A play off of the term "Pinky Swear"), or, if ever I leave an anonymous review, I will be iColor. c:
Can go by: Inks
About the Author: Inks is your own humble author, here to present you with some words to read. These words come together to make sentences, which come together to make paragraphs, which come together to make chapters which come together to make... well, I think you get it. Inks is a sixteen year old girl who finds pleasure in:
Talking about things of no consequence - Playing with pictures - Reading excessively - Hanging out with her friends - Pretty much anything pertaining to music - Stories with romance and humor (Fluffy comedy!) - Stories that have an important message - Happy people - Organizing things - Writing - Encouraging words from the people around her - Being able to figure out things before they are presented outright - Baking cookies and cakes - Receiving cookies and cakes - Strawberry lemonade - Watching movies - Singing spontaneously (though she's not in choir) - Good smelling lotions - Traveling - Candy! - Acting like a little kid
She has a weird philosophy too. Consider this: How can you tell me that unicorns don't exist when any person can draw one if they wanted to? Unicorns do exist. It's just that they're not exactly alive.
Some quotes Inks likes are: "Keep smiling. It makes people wonder what you're up to" - "People can live one hundred years without really living a minute" - "No matter what you do, there will be critics" - "Why not?"
Inks can't give you a list of her favorite books. It would probably be too long. If you'd like a list of book's I'd recommend, go to my website.
Same goes for music and movies. Except there's no list of movies or music I'd recommend. =P
I pretty much put it upon myself to always reply when I get a review. So please review! I enjoy getting the feedback and the encouragement. c: It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. (Egads... I don't like how I sound like I'm asking for attention. But alas, I guess I am. I just want my stories to be more out there, you know? And not in a weird way.)
One more thing: Inks likes meeting new people. So feel free to talk to her and get to know her if you want to. c:
Inks wonders why she spoke in third person this whole time. Oh well.
Current Stories:
Living in a Lost World: I've known her since third grade. She is the most genuinely joyful person I know. Her name is Michaella Rose Devron, and she is going to die in one hundred days.
This is the story of Cody Donahue, and his account on his own love story with Michaella Devron. Published August 15, 2008.
!090708! Guys, if you've been reading this, I am really sorry but LLW is going on hiatus until further notice. I'm so sorry if you've enjoyed this so far! I hope you don't abandon all hope and come at me with pitchforks or anything. :c I'll be sure to get on this in the future, but I feel like CTCC (below) would be easier to concentrate on while I have school, since it's plotline isn't really as complex as this one (since the main girl (or guy) of CTCC isn't dying in one hundred days... or is s/he?! Dun dun dun!! Haha, okay, I'm just kidding). Again, I am so sorry! I hope you won't be too disappointed. :c Oh my gosh, this statement is even making me sad... Ah! I'll get back on it as soon as I think I can handle it. I'm so sorry! :ccc
Climbing Trees & Chasing Cars: Aiden Carlisle: noun 1. Snobby popular guy in my Calculus class; 2. Has barely talked to me or acknowledged me, ever; 3. Dedicated a song to me on the radio. Wait a second. What?
Something I just thought of randomly one day. It may seem like a bit of a cliche, but I must admit that so far, I've had fun writing it. Published August 29, 2008.
Green-Eyed: She saw them. They were sitting together, smiling over fruit smoothies. Jealousy ensued. ONESHOT.
Just a simple one shot revolving around a girl (Demi) who gets jealous after seeing her boyfriend (Bret) with another girl in the food court of the mall. Slightly fluffy. c: Published August 07, 2008.
When There Are Daisies: I have never seen this woman in my life. But when she sits next to me in a club and tells me her story, I can't help but be amazed. ONESHOT.
Another one shot. I kind of like this one, although it may not be my best work. Most of the necessary information about it is in the author's note in the story. c: Published August 21, 2008.
Upcoming Stories:
The Secret Box: This is a collection of short one shots--sort of. The entries revolve around items a girl has which have a special meaning for her. She writes about each item on a piece of paper, and uses the paper on which she wrote the explanation to wrap the item before she puts it into a box.
Hence, the name. The secret box. This story is pretty general, and has a basis on the philosophies of the girl (who remains unnamed as of yet), as well as her hopes and dreams. Not yet published.
Untitled: This is the possible continuation from TSB, and would have more of an actual plot and story line. I will withhold any more information for the sake of good old suspense ;D hahaha. Well, that is, if I ever develop an audience who would care. c:
