Author has written 47 stories for Friendship, General, General, Romance, Life, Supernatural, Love, Humor, Biography, Essay, Haiku, Action, and Young Adult.

1st of July: "Prey", the fourth book in the Shifter series, by Rachel Vincent comes out.

The Shifter series is about a tabby -- a female werecat -- Faythe. "Stray", "Rogue" and "Pride" are available on Amazon. (This isn't actually a YA series, but mature readers will love it.)

1st of August: "My soul to Take", also by Rachel Vincent, is the first in the Soul Screamers series.

This is a YA series about a teenager bean sidh, a banshee, Kaylee. (Because it's the first in the series, I don't know much else about it yet.)

I'm going to change my pen name. Now here's my old one: clumsybella15

I've changed it! I'm now Midnight Adrenaline. It's from a poem by Falcon0Rider, in her story "Sophomore Year".

"Weirdness and normality is subjective. To some I am normal, to most I am weird." ~Midnight Adrenaline (Invented just this minute, 11:11 AM 8th of March.)

"I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions." ~James Michener

Do not put statements in the negative form.
And don't start sentences with a conjunction.
If you reread your work, you will find on rereading that a
great deal of repetition can be avoided by rereading and editing.
Never use a long word when a diminutive one will do.
Unqualified superlatives are the worst of all.
De-accession euphemisms.
If any word is improper at the end of a sentence, a linking verb is.
Avoid trendy locutions that sound flaky.
Last, but not least, avoid cliches like the plague.
~William Safire, "Great Rules of Writing"

It is impossible to discourage the real writers - they don't give a damn what you say, they're going to write. ~Sinclair Lewis

Please read and vote for it to get published!

"They are just three teenagers of a lost generation. Brother and sister Jeremy and Zoey not only befriend Allison, they take over her life. In a world where parents don't care and teachers don't understand, Allison learns of many vices that teenagers use to block out the pain and hopelessness that they don't know how to handle. If Allison isn't strong enough to survive the wonderland that is the teenage years, her friends won't only teach her how to be alive. They might just teach her how to die as well."

Voting started yesterday and ends November 18th.

"This project is in contention for publication, open for voting by the WEbook community. Voting ends on 11/18/2008. If you want to be a part of picking the next published WEbooks, read the project or just the "Vote Zone" and add your vote!"

Creating an account is necessary for voting but free.

"I don't know why people would want to have lunch with writers. I've eaten with writers. We have appalling table manners, and rarely say anything other than 'Pass the salt' or 'If you're not going to eat that, can I have it?'" -Neil Gaiman

"My beauty can't be caught on camera." -Me

"Everyone says to give up on you, but they don't see you like I do.

You're the one who broke my heart, you're the reason my world fell apart.

You're the one who made me cry, yet I still love you and I don't know why."

"I'm not the girl that runs up to you when I see you
And I'm not the girl who jumps at every moment
To talk to you, but I am the girl who keeps it all inside
And regrets it all later..."

"If love is like a great flame, then true love is a flame that not even the strongest of winds can blow out." Kayleigh (me).

"Love not because it's the 'cool' thing to do, but because it is impossible not to." Kayleigh (me).

"Two pieces of the same puzzle don't fit together." Rosaleen

"The greatest weakness of most humans is their hesitancy to tell others how much they love them while they're still alive." Orlando A. Battista

Only one word can define me: me. There is no other way.

Speak your mind even if your voice shakes.

Black mountains are set against a background of white clouds - an antithesis.

A thousand contradicting thoughts flicker through my mind, like images on an old, broken TV.

Don't worry about the people in your past, there's a reason they didn't make it to your future.

Sometimes people run away just to see if anyone cares enough to follow.

If nothing lasts forever, can I be your nothing?

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Don't make someone a priority when they make you an option.

If you live to be 100, I want to be 100 minus one day, so I never have to live without you.

If he's dumb enough to walk away, then be smart enough to let him go.

YOU KNOW YOU'RE AN AUTHOR IF...

You talk to yourself a lot. (e.g. Hmm, what would happen if it was sunny the day Bella got hit by the van? Oh, story idea!! Must get computer!)

You talk to yourself about talking to yourself. (e.g. 'Why do I constantly ask my self random things?')

When you talk to yourself you often talk to yourself like you're talking to someone else. (e.g. 'Have you ever noticed that deliver could mean someone's liver?')

After uttering a profound piece of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand with awe and say, "Wow,this stuff is great for sugar highs...'

You talk to characters from books you really liked.

You can't sleep at night because of said conversations.

You live off of sugar and caffeine (the two greatest things ever discovered!)

You'll check your e-mail every day of the week and then disappear off the face of the earth.

You're e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random.

When replying to an e-mail, you'll never actually address the point of it.

You tend to collect Bic Stics off the ground like picking pennies off the ground.

No matter where you are in a room you never have to get up to find a pen/pencil and paper.

You own a million pens that never get used because your computer/laptop is much better, in fact, you even forgot how to write with a pen!

You spend so many hours writing that you can now type without looking at the keyboard.

The letters on your keyboard are wearing off. (once a key actually fell off!)

You wrist(s) hurt because of too much typing.

When writing on a slow computer, the words you type take a couple of minutes before appearing because you type too fast for the computer.

You have the wonderful talent of being able to talk a lot and think a lot. No one understands how this is possible.

Your friends and family think that you have carpal tunnel syndrome.

People think you have A.D.D.

You think it'd be cool to have A.D.D.

You constantly start talking in third person, present or past tense.

You start thinking about making lists like this and start giggling for no "apparent" reason

Your friends stopped looking at you funny when you giggled for no apparent reason a loooooong time ago.

And FINALLY, the one way to tell if you're a good writer: You failed English 101.

(copy that into your profile if you fit one or more of the descriptions)

I am the girl that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace, or talking to a girlfriend on a cell phone or regular phone. I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year. I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain.

But I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn’t care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who loves and is obsessed with Twilight, who can express herself better with words than actions, who doesn't need a guy to complete her, and knows the importance of the little things. Copy and paste this onto your account, and add your name to the list, if you are anything like me, so the girls who are different and unique can know in their weakest time that they are unique but not alone: Iheartjake, TeamJacob101, Boysareadrag, The Dawn Is Breaking, clumsybella15
