I love to write, but...I just don't have a whole lot of time to do it. I also love to read, so, wow, you gotta wonder why I'm on this site, no? (lol...too bad sarcasm can't be READ, 'cause that was a small example)
Hm...I guess I should put a little about myself up here, shouldn't I?
Name: Chryssa. Or..that's my nickname. She's one of the main character in Starless Nights, a story I am currently working on with my boyfriend. SHe's my character and I sorta..fell in love with her name. Plus it, ironically, is somewhat close to my real name.
Age: I'm only 15, but I've had several people tell me I"m mature for my age. So..yeah, yay me
From: ALabama.
No siblings, but a five year old neighbor who's like a brother to me.
Music: I love most rock music, and have recently gotten into Christian Rock. (if anyone's intrested, RED and Skillet are amazing bands) I hate rap, and, though it must be amazing to be able to sing(or talk..I don't really consider most rap to be singing) like that(fast and ...well...the whole..RHYME thing..I can't do it, so in a way, I envy those people) is absolutely amazing to me.
Current Favorite SOng: "Break Me Down" by RED
Movies: Titanic(i cry every time..), A Walk To REmember(I BAWL every time), basically any funny movie that isn't some swear word every other word or a sex scene every thirty seconds. LIke horror movies even though I'm kept up half the night jumping at every little noise my house makes. THough..that's probally the point though, right? I"m pretty much up for any movie as long as it's a GOOD movie.
My Writing:
OK...as I said, I love to write, but I dont' really have alot of time, or the attention span, to do it. I consider myself to be a pretty good imaginaist(is that even a word??) with plenty of ideas. THough..they're not really ideas. Most of my "ideas" are just lines, phrases, or small scenes that are written in my head that never get written. (Insomnia is my gift and my curse)
Current Projects:
Starless Nights: This is possibly the longest running story I've ever written. That could be cause I"m co-authoring it with my boyfriend. I love the story too, so..that must be a big help. Have you ever heard that vampires and werewolves are eternal enemies? I've heard it in several places, and it sparked an idea in my brain. (Woot! Go brain!) WHat if a vampire and a werewolf ever fell in love? HOw would that work?? THey're complete opposites. I started shooting off ideas to my boyfriend, who I will call Aiden, and he sugguested that that be our next project. He loves writing too, so it worked out nicely. The main characters are AIden, our vampire, (Yes, I know vampire and Boyfriend have the same name. It's HIS character...so...yeah, get over it) and Chryssa, our werewolf. (I fell in love with her name so I took it) They go to high school together and have never spoken...YET. AIden is a little over a hundered years old and is sorta of a quiet guy. Most vampires drink human blood, but Aiden has decided to be a 'vegetarian' and drink only animals blood. He's a quiet person most of the time, mostly keeping to himself. I don't realy want to go into too much detail about him, so..moving on! Chryssa, the werewolf, is a rebellious, smart aelicey(...no FREAKING CLUE how to spell that...) girl. Her pack(the main conflict in this particular story) is suffocating her with rules and laws about how she is being forced to take a mate. She refuses and basically says to them 'screw you' which...really pisses off her parents, who just happen to be the leaders. She's always been a trouble maker, and...her new attitude toward a certain vampire doesn't help her pack life any.
The wolves don't like Aiden, and fully intend to put a stop to Aiden and Chryssa's relationship. THe only problem? THe two have fallen in love. ANd, as they say 'love conquers all'. WIll it work though?
WHat's stronger to a wolf? It's family, or it's lover?
Ok..that wasn't an amazing summary, but...yeah..the actual story is better, I swear. Here's the rough 'sketch' cover for this story. I plan to print it and make it into a book type project. Clicky.
Splendiferous: Not really sure where this is going, haha, but I kinda like it so far. I'm writing this as a 'escape' from my other things I"m writing. Basically I'm challenging myself to write a chapter a day. So, they might get short as I run out of ideas(which are GLADLY accepted, by the way). So...yeah, it's just a cute little story about Katherine Crowley and Justin Callahan, and their little...mis-adventures.
I have several more projects, but...they're sort of on and off at the moment. XD So...if I can at least get half of one written, THEN i will post it, and give more information about them.
