"I love to write... it's all the paper work I can't stand"

For a writer, I'm pretty unsure of what to write here. I suppose I'll start by saying I can be called 'Aams' and compared to most other writers, I'm not all that great but I've been told I have potential (if I could actually ever finish anything). I'm an avid reader who wants to write something creative enough to pull a reader into a world other than the one they are in (which I find myself leaving on a daily basis). I suppose if there's anything you really want to know about me you'll ask yourself... and I'll probably change this around once I actually have the opportunity to put my writing up here.

Something to Explain my Writing

"I can only write about what I know
do I know too much?
that's impossible because the words never come
so I must not know enough
perhaps it isn't my knowledge that is at fault
the reason I can not write
but the fact that it is not in my list of talents
that I can learn overnight
things take time for me
they say all good things do
but for some reason when I put my pencil down this time
the words took off and flew"
