In high school I was an over achiever but I wasnt happy with the things I was doing. I was stressed out all the time for nothing. I made a decision to change and to not care so much about other people's idea of success. This poem is me before that change.
The original version of this was written as part of a 9th grade English assignment. We were given a list of words and told to write either a short story or poem out of them. This is the amended version.
