If you look up the word "nerd" in the dictionary, there will most definitely be a picture of me next to it. I love to write (obviously), and I love music. I play the piano, clarinet, and I sing in three choirs. Fiction is my favorite thing to write, but I also like poetry when I'm in the mood. Nonfiction bores me. Most of the things I write about are of my experiences or things that I feel strongly about. Every now and then I'll get a school assignment that I enjoy and think is good enough to actually let people read.

Some favorite books of mine:

To Kill a Mockingbird
The Catcher in the Rye
Of Mice and Men
Private Peaceful
The Outsiders
Messenger
The Red Pony

lots of others...

Other Stuff:

Robert Frost
Edgar Allen Poe
William Carlos Williams
Langston Hughes

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
by Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
