WHY WRITE? My English 12 teacher once asked us this exact question. Why does a writer write? The answer is simple; we write because we want to prove that we aren't insane, that we aren't the only people who think the way that we do. I was confused before, didn't know why writing made me feel like it did, and she helped me through it all, made me realize that was the reason why I sit down every night and do what I do. Writing is the one thing I have been looking for all my life, the one thing that makes me feel complete. I owe it all to that one teacher and for the rest of my life, even if she is not named, my stories will be dedicated to her.
