Author has written 4 stories for Love, Play, and General.

What to say about me? My name's Carey. I live in Ohio. I'm 23 and a writer. I try to dabble in everything. It's not easy for me to write too often because of school and work but I'll try my best. I used to belong to this site back in high school but I forgot all my info and don't use that e-mail anymore so decided to sign up again.

I'm an English major at a local community college. I've been in and out of school for some time. I also work at a grocery store so there will be a couple one-shot stories popping up based upon my experiences in that just for fun and for the sake of writing something. Some of these will be in play form and some will be in short-story form. All depends on how much detail I feel like adding to the story and how tired I am.

When I'm not writing, my other hobby (aside from catching up on much needed sleep) is scrapbooking and photography. I carry my camera everywhere, always looking for something to add to my many books and little projects. I also love to shop but sadly am currently lacking funds. ((grumbles)) stupid gas prices

Here's what I have uploaded for your viewing pleasure:

Completed Works-
"What Does It Mean?"- I wrote this in September 2006 at about 3:00 in the morning. It's dedicated to my darling boyfriend, Frank. It's not really a structured poem. It's more like a blurb of random lines. But it's full of emotion that I had to express somehow or else I was never going to get to sleep that night. The very next day after I wrote this, we told each other that we loved each other for the first time. (very big, giddy grin)

"The Counterfiet Check"- a one-shot play about a video store clerk getting told off by some rich, snotty customer because their money was checked. Not my best work. I felt like posting it anyway.

"In His Eyes"- A little blurb I wrote back in January and decided to share.

Works in Progress-
"Tara"- This is a temporary title. It stars one of my old RP characters, Tara Kavanagh. Some of the elements are based on events from my life. Others are due to my insanity and overactive imagination.

The following I have not finished but will be uploaded as soon as I can.

Stories in Progress-
Tall Tales From A Little Lady- Inspired by the movie Big Fish. Helena is a grandmother who loves to tell tall tales to her children and grandchildren. This is going to be a collection of stories for all ages. I might break them up to individual posts, all depends on how long the stories are. I think I'm going to have fun writing this one. I'm basing Helena off my Gram who passed away in May of 2007. She always believed in me and supported my writing more than anyone else. She loved to read, didn't matter if it was a steamy romance or a recipie from a cookbook. So this is for you, Gramma!

Untitled story about a priestess- Lilybell is a priestess in a secret order. When she falls in love, she must chose between her duty to her heart or chance the anger of her family and the gods.

Tudor Diaries- A project I've started and put off for a number of years and I swear, someday, I will get it done!
