Author has written 1 story for Young Adult.

First off, my name is Amber.

I've read some really great books, and they have inspired me to write. Although I've been an avid reader my entire life, I'm fairly new to writing fictional stories. I'm working on several stories, or moreover I have a few ideas rolling around in my head. I've decided to post a story that has quite quickly become one of my favorites. Clay Within Your Hands. So go read it! Review, and tell me what you think =)

I have read so many books, and have many favorite authors. Most recently I've read books by Francine Rivers, Sally Johns, Lisa/John Bevere and John Grisham. Seriously people, Francine Rivers' books have changed my life. Go read them. John Grisham is AMAZING. Go read him too. John and Lisa Bevere are the BEST, and write the most life changing, inspirational books ever. They don't write fiction, and to be honest, there are no words to describe how much I love what their books have done in my life.

I'm an optimist, I have many best friends, and I love meeting new people. I love all things dealing with music; singing, writing, listening, and playing it. Out of the hundreds of bands and singers to recommend, Jon Foreman, Switchfoot, Family Force 5, and The Afters are at the top.

My age? I'm fifteen, soon to be sixteen. I'm pretty easy and open minded.

I have to admit I am mature for my age. I'm a dreamer and a deep thinker. I'm looking for authenticity. I'm not one hundred percent sure what direction my life is going, but I'm letting God take free reign.

I'm strong in my faith. I love believing there is hope. I believe that living for others is way more satisfying than living for ourselves. I love the message of Jesus. He's the Man! I seek to understand, and I'm not afraid to question. I'm passionate about social justice, and standing up for the unheard and broken.

I write blogs for, and co-manage a website called Broken House of Cards. Broken House of Cards is dedicated to giving a voice to the silent, and informing people of issues they NEED to hear. Social justice, and human issues are the focus. The site is not running right now, but will be shortly after some updates.

If you want to contact me, my email address is ruby_blue21@yahoo.com. Oh and I would really like to be someone's beta! I think that would be sweet...and if you need one, email me!

The song of my life right now. Never going back to OK by The Afters.

It's not the end
But it feels like it is
I'm waking up
Like I'm back from the dead
I'm stepping out
And I feel so afraid
But as long as I'm moving it's all right

I feel alive
And it hurts for a change
And looking back and it's hard to believe
That I was cool
With the days that I wasted complacent and tasteless and bored but
That was yesterday

We're never going back to OK
We're never going back to easy
We're never going back to the way it was
We're never going back to OK

This discontent
Like a slap in the face
Of mediocre
I've had enough of this place
This party's over
And I'm moving away from the frills of you Beverly Hills but that was yesterday

We're never going back to OK
We're never going back to easy
We're never going back to the way it was
We're never going back to OK

We're here to stay
This is our time
Our only life
Our chance to live

We're never going back to OK
We're never going back to easy
We're never going back to the way it was
We're never going back to OK
