Water Maiden has been rewritten for too many years to admit, and the later and better versions have been lost to computer crashes and rainstorms. This is one of the early versions -- and is in serious need of updating and rewriting. I know this.
So, now I’m trying to rewrite it -- the only extant copy of Water Maiden from many -- and bring it up to date. Helping me with editing is the Editors Room at Rocky's Box, and updates to this dreadful version will be posted on a webpage to be announced later. See below

OKAY: Water Maiden is finished, complete, on FictionPress. Yuck! I will be changing quite a bit of it, particularly rewriting the cheesy-corny ending. Thanks for reading, reviewing, and putting up with it!
