Bands are Green Day, U2, Rise Against, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, Sex Pistols, Smiths, Decemberists, Steve Reynolds, Nirvana, Great Big Sea, Carbon Leaf, stuff you've never heard of. Favorite Books: Historical, romance, mystery. Preferably all three, set in Russia. And distopians. LOTR, 1984, Animal Farm, Arkady Renko books, Everything is Illuminated, To Kill A Mockingbird, Catcher in the Rye, Child 44, Sophie Kinsella, Adrian Mole books, Harry Potter, some Shakespeare, Cormac Mccarthy, any book in which there is a movie starring Viggo Mortensen. That's a very limited example. Favorite Movies: Milk, LOTR, Michael Collins, Star Wars, POTC, Eastern Promises, Harry Potter, Song for a Raggy Boy, Hidalgo, King Kong, Juno, Rent, Sin City, Running with Scissors, Charlie Bartlett, Treasure Planet, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Iron Man, Priest, and Anastasia. Favorite TV Shows: House, Ugly Betty, Torchwood, Dr. Who, QAF, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, Psych, Robin Hood, and Project Runway Favorite Quotes: Far too many to count. Anything by Harvey Milk, Garry Kasparov, Winston Churchill, Yeats, Viggo Mortensen, David Frost, Barack Obama, JFK, or Vladimir Putin. There are many more. About Me: I'm your average, all-girls' school kid, a tortured genius wannabe spy-archaeologist. Nothing special or unique. Talents are history, some parts of writing, and being a pest. Attempts at playing guitar, normally fails, takes Russian, fence, works for a real archeologist. Hey, what can I say? You try going to an all girls' school for middle and high school, fencing with Ukrainian lunatics, studying espionage with the best at Cambridge. I's fun. As of yet, I haven't died. Just gotten major bruises and/or ego. For fifteen years, that's not bad. Especially for somebody as liberally outspoken as myself.
