Author has written 5 stories for Horror, Mystery, and Thriller.

Welcome reader, and thanks for taking the time to look at my (in my mind) boring profile page.

My name is Katherine and I'm 19. I like to read, write, watch movies, listen to music, fiddle with technology, and hang out with friends.

Favorite Authors: Isaac Asimov (RIP), Orson Scott Card, Michael Crichton (RIP), Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Matthew Reilly, Anne Rice, and JK Rowling.

Favorite Artists: 3 Doors Down, 30 Seconds to Mars, Atreyu, Breaking Benjamin, Daughtry, Disturbed, Goo Goo Dolls, Hoobastank, Linkin Park, Lostprophets, Muse, Nickelback, Nightmare, The Offspring, Queen, Shinedown, Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, Three Days Grace, Utada Hikaru, Within Temptation, ect...

I enjoy writing and I think that's because I've read so many books. I'm a bookworm; I won't bother lying. I even read during class half the time. Anyway, I enjoy many genres but horror draws me back every time. I can say with confidence that the two authors which inspire my work the most have taught me just about everything I know about story telling. They are in order Stephen King and Anne Rice (Dean Koontz also, but to a much lesser degree).

STORY INFO

(11/5/09) Just updated the beginning of my newest story, The Game. I hope you read the first chapter and like it! It will probably only be two chapters, but we'll see.

"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." -- Bertrand Russell

"We make the dragons as we make the gods, because we need them, because somewhere deep in our hearts; we recognize that a world without them is a world not living in. No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith." -- Anonymous

"You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend." -- Paul Sweeney

"In books lies the soul of the whole Past Time: the articulate audible voice of the Past, when the body and material substance of it has altogether vanished like a dream." -- Thomas Carlyle

"We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly." -- Sam Keen
