What I'm Writing:
Shattered- Fiction They named me Lina- weakness, fragility. As if i asked to come into the world this way, half human and half their kind.
Lina is the outcast of the Eternal settlement of Jinhau- her father was an Eternal, but her mother was human. When she went through the baptism ceremony that enhances the Eternal characteristics of speed, strength and longevity to superhuman status, the Great Spirit chose instead to enhance her human features- her weakness and her capacity to have a loving heart. Stuck with bones that shatter when she trips over and a bottomless heart, Lina's only saving graces are her immortality and the fact that she heals fast. When her human caregiver Hetty dies, she's shipped away to human lands with Hetty's adoptive son, Talon, who blames her for 'stealing' his mother away from him. The only hope she has is a mysterious piece of parchment given to her by Hetty on her deathbed. Read it to find out what happens next! :)
