I am currently a junior at CAMS (California Academy of Mathematics and Science) / live in Huntington Park, CA / am 16 years old / love the color red / can't go a day without music / am a dreamer / am very studious / wants a cure for ignorance / am always willing to learn / am interested in philosophy / want to major in Mathematics / am friendly / enjoy helping others / am mature / want to be more cultured / am bilingual (Spanish and English) / know a bit of Japanese / am a Latino / love reading / am a casual gamer / can converse about any subject.
Yet, from all those things, I consider myself a philosopher. I don't have to deal with trivialities like I know others do, which gives me time to think. As a philosopher, I am obligated to acquire much insight, which allows me to think critically and converse about a plethora of subjects. Although I enjoy writing, I find it difficult to write fiction, so probably all of my submissions will be nonfiction, either vignettes or other autobiographical works. Yes, it is a bit unusual to find fiction difficult, but famous writers' fiction is based on reality, which makes their works easier to create. Also, my academic life interferes with the rest of my life, which in turn causes a shortage of time for me, so I won't be able to post submissions very often, or quite succinctly.
"Now, I talk with someone above
It's okay to lose your pride over someone you love
Don't lose someone you love though over your pride
Stick wit'cha entree and get over your side" -Fabolous
Whether or not this quote or its creator is familiar, it helps me immensely with life, as I remember my priorities and stick with what's important.
