Author has written 21 stories for Romance, General, General, Life, Fantasy, Historical, Sci-Fi, and Humor.

My good friend Unleash the Bats challenged me to the 365 Day Writing Challenge. The goal is to write something every day for a year, ending July 30 2010. My personal goal is 500 words per day for a story that can stand on its own and make sense, with a defined beginning and ending that pertains to the prompt for the day. As you can see, it's a bit involved. The stories range from romance to adventure to self discovery to general asshattery, and I plan to make the most of this challenge.

The titles will generally be the prompt for that day, unless it's not a good title on its own ("carpet" was prompt #3), in which case I will improve it ("Drab Brown Carpet") or change it entirely to something more suited to the story. If you'd like to suggest a title for any of them, go right ahead. Props to you for taking the time.

If you want to participate, send me a message (fairybrat@hotmail) and I'll put your username up here. Take the leap!

365 Day Writing Challenge Stories:

Streetlamps - A young woman is looking for a good friend, because he's saved her before and she really, really wants him to pull a magic trick and do it again.
Ocean - A young woman is scared of spontaneity, but is shoved feetfirst into the waters of random by a boy in college who's life revolves around marching to the beat of a different drum.
Drab Brown Carpet - A work in progress; Max doesn't want to be adopted. He'd rather stay at the orphanage with his best friend, Brent, their cohort in evil, the young mother Danielle, and all the things that come along with both.
Airship Issues - A work in progress; Janie's mother disappeared, leaving Janie to take over captaincy of her mother's pirates-for-hire airship fleet. Somebody's been trying to pick them off, though, and when Janie's ship interferes with a battle between her mother's attackers and her own country's enemies, she inadvertently kidnaps the son of the ruling family of their enemies, who is thrilled to be involved in such an adventure of swashbuckling on the high seas.
Shooting Stars - A work in progress; Austin wishes upon a shooting star to make his stepdad mad, but to his shock, it comes true. Now, he's got an authentic GayDar, and it works even when he doesn't want it to. It's a good thing it doesn't work on siblings.
Guardian Angel Reapers - A work in progress; Alexis dies and when she goes through Human-Spirit Resources, they mess up her paperwork and she accidentally ends up in Hell. Her Guardian Angel, who needs to straighten it out and fix his mistake, gets her a job as a part-time Reaper, because if he can prove that he's still a worthwhile Guardian, Heaven will take him back. If not, he's stuck with Alexis until she decides to give up Reaping and move on to Heaven, at which time he'll be fired.
Tackled by Trees - She's routinely kidnapped because people think they can force her to use her mechanical magic. She finds a crashlanded ship outside of town.
Household Problem - Cass's sister, father, and grandfather disappeared years back, and she's been searching for them ever since. Cooper and the werewolf pack alpha Damon are at their wits' ends with her.
