Welcome, I am Katja Aeron Valiant.
(It's been a million years since I've updated. But again, that is relatively impossible.)
November 17th, Monday
is Haley's Sixteenth Birthday!!
Happy Birthday, Haley Jade.
I am sure that if I am lacerated in any way...
My blood will be black as tar and just as fragrant as a dark French roast.
The first thing I must say is this:
If a procrastinator can still find time to be a busybody, I've found a way to do that.
I've been flooded with another huge idea that is solidifying as we speak,
and I am too eager to introduce to you my newest find (which of course, Quinne is not happy about)
Mr. R. L. Valspar.
He is the main protagonist of A Sordid Melancholy, my alternate dig from La Guardia.
I do have something solid, and I have posted it. Ha-duh. It's been while.
I had the best pick-me-up besides coffee a few weeks ago... a long distance phone call that entailed something that goes a little like this...
"So, he's a sleazeball."
"More like... a sleazy sophisticated ball, if that makes sense."
Follow that with an uproarious gale of laughter.
That would be my good friend and occasional reviewer, Medieval-Rogue.
She is an amazing author, and I implore you to drop by her page.
If you have the time, delve into The Three Powers.
And if not... I suggest that you read A Professional Mystery.
I could almost guarantee the spine-tinglies, but again, I don't want to be liable.
There has been a new addition for those of you who actually read and review!
My best friend... affectionately known on this server as Bitch, summarizes my stories in her own words and makes me laugh my can off. If she forgets something, she posts it under the alias of OMG. She is the main proprietor of The Bitchin' Press, and will have an entire review column in every one of my public works.
No flames, please--she's enough of a nuclear warhead on her own.
As always,
Goodday.
I've changed Angel of La Guardia's title to Fragments, simply because that is all that's published there. It's not to be taken as a complete, chronologically accurate storyline, so please, don't be confused, and most certainly don't leave slightly miffed reviews telling me what I already know. Enjoy reading my fragments of thought, and let me know what you think. La Guardia will be up as a whole story in a short amount of time. Fragments are merely my scratch paper.
And also-- the skeletons for the La Guardia books have all been laid out. Some of them are in need of repair, but as always, 'tis only a flesh wound!
(PS--A game is in the process of being created as well.
Quinne's sprites are done, but I've put it on the back burner for now.)
Another Announcement!
My good Finnish friend, Maarit Hyvärinen, has been signed on to do the artwork for
The Angel of La Guardia!
I am so very excited about this, and you should be so too.
