In case you were wondering...
...all these poems are part of a collection I’m trying to get published called "Sense of Self". It represent a rough chronology of my life. I found this link on fanfic and thought it would be cool to get some feedback, see what other people are doing and find out if these poems can stand on their own individually (as opposed to being part of the collective to which they were originally assimilated.)
So it’s all there starting with the struggles of growing up & fitting in, finding & loosing assorted loves through the college years and beyond until becoming centered enough to cut some cords and God.
Oh yes, I finally learned that life has no meaning without God. However, He doesn’t solve all your problems or give you instant self esteem. Your life becomes a work in progress with the hope that it all means something Someone who has The Big Picture.
I didn’t touch up the early stuff in order to preserve my original young voice (from a long time ago and a galaxy far away), but there comes a point when age doesn’t matter (right?) and those poems have been refined, rehabilitated and reassembled to perfection (hopefully).
Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to seeing what you all think.

PS: Alright, I admit I'm a bit paranoid about all these different categories and ratings and whether I'm getting them right since the rules say, "no exceptions!"!! (??). Please let me know if I don't have it write.
(No tarantulas, space stations, rainbows, or rainwater were harmed during the production of this poetry.)
