Hello there !!

You can call me Vox if you like. I'm just a silly student in USA who wishes to go into some form of writing. I wouldn't go so far as to say I want to be an author, but maybe journalism or something like that.

I love satire. Anything with any kind of dark irony that makes me laugh and cry at the same time is positively awesome if pulled off well. Besides that, any kind of genre is fine in my book, as long as it's dark like that. However, I'm an aromantic asexual so I really don't care for romance and some if it even disgusts me from time to time.

I like gloomy music with a strangely upbeat feel, as long as it doesn't border "emo." I like cool gloomy themes. Not angst. I listen to music always as I write...some of it even inspires my stories. I have "soundtracks" for my stories that coordinate with the plot and characters, even.

Speaking of stories, I create literally scores of them. I've been making story ideas since I was in 5th grade and I still make them non-stop, so one can imagine that I never get tired of it. Despite this, there are little stories I actually really like enough to write, so I'm not sure how much I'll end up posting here.

I'm kind of sensitive to critique...I always feel like I failed, or something, no matter how nicely it's worded. HOWEVER. I still take it to heart! I joined this website so I could man up to critique. And thus I shall! ...Just don't be too harsh.

I prefer critique to small things I can change chapter-to-chapter, instead of full crits on my whole writing style or the whole story. This is because I can easily fix those things in the chapters, but I'm usually unwilling to change the main bulk and will probably not take suggestions on it.

Lastly, I return reviews to those who I feel have given me good reviews, so never fear! Welcome :D
