Random quotes:

“You've changed so much. I guess that's what happens. I wish you knew how much you changed me. I wonder if I changed you, if your life is different because of me. Because mine's different. My God, you taught me so much, and now we don't even talk to each other. I guess that's what happens.” - Unknown

Life is a long process of getting tired. - Samuel Butler

Don't judge anyone; everyone's innocent until proven guilty, yeah?

Trying to get back into the groove of reviewing. Starting with this story.

My Reviews:

I most likely appear long-windedly pretentious or negative in my reviews. I don't mean it; I opted for an objective style early on, but you can basically only be so about grammar (and even then...), and so it's stuck. If the story happens to be fantasy, the review will likely be more varied.

About Me:

Male. Sophomore in high school.

I like noticing connections between things. I have a protective instinct that naturally manifests into a soft spot for Woobies. While I hover the border between the rivaling countries of Optimism and Pessimism, I try to side more with the former as it's more productive. Outside of English, I like history and psychology. Despite my ethnicity, I hate (and I try to prevent using these heavy-loaded words) math(; in fourth grade, I had an argument with my best friend over which was better: English or Math. He, being the son of a mathematician, fully supported the latter. As a foolish youngling, I couldn't argue that without English, there could be no math). I like symbolism. Fantasy fiction is my make-believe world (I like worldbuilding). I like branching and developing perceptions; staying in your little bubble's fine, but I like floating around. I'm fairly misogynistic, in the "Oh, humans," kind of way. I'm schizophrenic: Mr. Cynic tends to dominate the angel-devil-shoulder dynamic, but deep down, in a comatose state, there's a being whose ability to spin fluff I fear. I think the media needs to be slow-roasted by a sadistic Satan, and yet I face bouts of T.V addiction. I dislike hypocrites, but obviously I'm not immune. Figuratively speaking, shades of gray are my favorite colors; literally, I like blue. I think I started too many sentences on this profile with 'I.' This is why I prefer writing in third-person, but what'd'ya know, I started this sentence with 'this.' 'When I grow up,' I only have a simple goal: to help. I'll usually have swings, benches, paths, forests, rivers, lakes, oceans, shores, clouds, skies, highways for my icons. And that's a random wall of text about this island in the Fictionpress sea.
