Author has written 20 stories for Fantasy, Horror, Young Adult, and Sci-Fi.

Hello, All.

I'm Owl. I love books, chocolate, books, bagels, books, chinese food, books and my family.

My favourite books are:

ANYTHING by Terry Pratchett (every line's a joke in his books)

The Squire's Tales Series by Gerald Morris (an annoyingly little-known author, his books combine humor and adventure perfectly)

Anything by Tamora Pierce (especially Will of the Empress)

Anything by Isaac Asimov (in my mind, the best science fiction writer to ever cross this earth. His writing's okay, it's his plots that astound you!)

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert. A. Heinlein (very, very good book with a fun protagonist and a twisty plot)

Anything and everything Harry Potter (I am OBSESSED)

Anything by Hilari Bell (I love the inner conflicts in her books)

Anything by Mercedes Lackey (I love the characters here. Some of my favourite ever characters were found in her books)

Dangerverse by whydoyouneedtoknow (Admittedly, it's not actually a book, but it is the greatest Harry Potter fanfic out there. I occasionally get it confused with canon. For those HP fans out there who haven't read it--you should! It's not just the plots that are brilliant--it's the best-written Harry Potter fanfic I've ever read!)

Umm...there's more, obviously, but if I was to recount every book that I loved, or even every author, my profile would be a kilometer long.

As to my stories:

For You:

A fairly dark story. It's incredibly short, so to describe it would be to give away the plot, but I think it's the best story I've ever written.

Most of the Time, He Loves Her:

Much both shorter and darker than For You, but I like it. Be warned: those who've read it think it somewhat terrifying emotionally.

Prometheus:

It's longer than For You and Most of the Time combined, but that's not saying much. It's quite good, and in a very different style than For You or Most of the Time. A story about a...god?...named Prometheus.

The Song:

Another dark story. This is weird, as in real life I'm actually a very cheerful person. Maybe the dark in me comes out in my writing? I had to write it, I swear--it possessed me.

Manipulation:

Not too dark, considering the other things I've written. It's got an ambiguous ending.

Insanity:

There's not much I can add to the summary. It's a slightly humorous and slightly angsty first-person fic.

Interpreting Orders:

Again, there's not much I can add to the summary. It's not exactly funny, but it is amusing. It's the first in the Commander Damon Blackwell series.

Infiltration:

It's longer than Interpreting Orders. It's somewhat more humorous than the same. It is the second in the Commander Damon Blackwell series. I don't have them in chapters because though it's true that Infiltration follows Interpreting Orders, they really aren't two chapters in a book. If you liked Prometheus, you'll probably like this--both of the Commander Damon Blackwell stories are somewhat amusing, and none of them are dark.

Prisoner:

It's a story about a girl locked in a room who can't remember anything, in a similar style to The Song, Most of the Time, Manipulation and For You except that it switches between 1st and 3rd person.

Control:

Yes, I know, another dark one--though it's much lighter than most of my others. A woman look out her window at the forest, and wonder what it might have looked like before humanity took control.

Infiltration: Commander Kevan Gorthefyad

This one is (surprise, surprise) in the Commander Damon Blackwell series. It is Infiltration as seen through the eyes of the enemy Commander.

Murderer

A story about a queen and her two sons.
