Well, first off, this is a joint account, so if it sounds schizophrenic, that's why.

We are Dabbie, and we created this account for stories we write as a team; mainly a specific story called The Blue Notebook and all of its offshoots. Since the Blue Notebook is a role-play, sometimes more people will randomly be pulled into writing, but most of what's on here will be by Devin and Abbie (hence, Dabbie). The origin of The Blue Notebook is a long and complicated tale involving mortal peril, mountain dew, ice cream, and brownies; so we won't go into detail. We probably will not be posting the Blue Notebook itself on here, as it is rather long, unfinished, and, for the most part, untyped and incomprehensible; so here is a character list for your enjoyment.

It starts with Andrew Reed I and his wife Mary. Andrew is a farmer and they have five kids. Andrew Reed II is their oldest son, and he was in the military, where he met his wife Emily. They have a son, Andrew Reed III, who goes by the name "Leon." Andrew I and Mary's second child is Suzanne (Susie) who is married to David McCann. He is a banker. They have seven children: Charlotte, Marrion, Damen, Jason, Arriana, Michael, and Vallerie. Charlotte is married to a Mr. Zachary Smith and they have one son named Nathan. After Susie came James, a fireman currently on the outs with his wife, Ren. James and Ren have a daughter, whose name we are unsure of on account that Sarah is very indecisive. Fifteen years later Andrew and Mary had twins, Ian and Gemma (much to the shock of their other children). Rockstar Ian is not married, but he and his girlfriend Mya have two children, twins Louis and Lestat. They are approximately two days old. Gemma is also unmarried, but this is going to change in the relatively near future when she marries fellow geek Thomas MacEachthighearna.

Oh yeah, and there's the guy from year 1679 named Edward who Gemma brought back in her time machine which Tom is trying to help her fix. Also, Arriana's friend Jezebel who seems to be spending much time in the company of Arri and Gemma, and all of Ian's band members, who have very destructive tendencies and may or may not be gay. In any case, somehow or another there are currently twelve people residing in Gemma's house, which is rather crowded at the moment. Believe it or not. The story is called The Blue Notebook because Gemma's notes for her time machine are contained in a blue notebook. Actually, it's called that because we started writing it in a blue notebook and didn't have a title, and then that was it's title, so we needed to make up a legitimate reason to continue calling it the Blue Notebook.

The Blue Notebook: currently not online in any form. In progress. Chaotic. You don't want to know. Honestly.

Spilling the Beans: Mary tells her family that they are expecting twins.

Home Improvement: unfinished. The Reeds paint their house.

History Notes: Ian and Gemma pass notes in middle school history.

Answering Machines: Messages left on the answering machines of various and asundry characters.

Mistakes: Short stories featuring moments in the lives of Susie's children when they're rather small.

Susie and David: unfinished. The story of Susie and David's romance from when they meet to when they get married.

I'll Be Home for Christmas: Christmas 1984. David has to leave a very pregnant Susie shortly before Christmas.

Home for the Holidays: Christmas 1979. All the Reeds get together and chaos ensues. For approximately fifteen pages.

The Blue Notebook: Set shortly before the Blue Notebook itself, a Gemma-centric piece about her time machine.

The Couch: James is on the outs with Ren again, and he has to sleep on the couch.

Geeks in Love: Follows Gemma and Tom through their relationship up until their wedding, which I suspect we will eventually get to writing in the Blue Notebook itself.

Andrew and Emily: as yet untitled. How Andrew and Emily met and fell in love.
