Hey, I'm Marah, and I'm going through a major Poetry-writing phase. I'm also going through a major emo phase...so yeah. Don't be TOO creeped out by what I write, okay?
Name: Marah
Age: 13
Gender: Girl
Likes: Black, purple, candy, apples, candy apples, music, singing, dancing, listening to music while singing and dancing, bubbles, Les Miserables, swinging, spray paint, Mini-wheats
Dislikes: Your mother.
Stories:
Murder: I got the idea of 'Murder' after listening to 'Like Knives' and 'The Kill' over and over and over. It's basically gonna be a saga/series about, well, murder, from different points of view. i.e. The murderer, the victim, the witness, the police, the bartender, et cetera.
Summer Memories: This is the memoir poem I had to write for my Expository Writing class. It's about summer camp. I'll post the final draft in a while.
That Darn Alarm Clock!: This is probably the worst story I've ever written, but I just HAD to do it. Alarm clocks are the effing worst.
All Things Bright and Beautiful: This is the memoir narrative I had to write for Expos. It's about my days as a youngin'.
Remember, kittens, the most important rules of writing:
1. Use strong action verbs and descriptive adjectives to paint a vivid picture in the readers' minds.
2. Show, don't tell. If you're writing poem/story/narrative, don't just go like, "I walked to the library. I thought that boy was cute." Show us, don't just TELL us.
