I've lived in the United States for all of my life, and Texas for all but two years. I enjoy reading and writing literature. I also ride horses in my spare time, am an amateur photographer, and make it a point to learn something new every day. I believe that our education is never finished, while our schooling only takes up a portion of our life.
I am a voracious reader, and I'll read just about anything. I love fantasy, some science fiction, historical fiction, romance, chick lit, parodies, non-fiction... just about everything except realistic fiction. Reading is my escape, and I'd rather not read about people just like me. But really, it depends more on the book than the genre for me. I adore books that make you think and question your life (especially Jodi Piccoult), but my guilty pleasures are cheesy romance novels. I don't care that they are clichéd, or that the guy will always end up with the girl. I love them all the same, and I devour them like cookies when I feel bad.
