ATTENTION; I have made a decision, one that some of you are really gonna dislike me for... As some of you may have noticed, my updates have been totally off. There is a reason, and that is; I don't know where I want these stories to go from here. Also, call me pathetic, I get stressed when I'm late on an update and it gets even harder to come up with stuff. Hence most of my chapters seeming to be fillers. So, because of all of this, I have decided to temporarily discontinue both Old Blood and Failing Moon. This IS temporary! In about two months time, about being key (it may be more or less), I will resume posting. I need some time to get my thoughts in order and to work through this writer's block without worrying about updates. I apologize to all who were enjoying my stories, but it IS final and it IS only temporary. If things go well I might post teasers or small excerpts to keep you all interested and tide you over until posting resumes. Sorry again to all those who stuck with me this far. I didn't want to do this, but it seems inevitable. I'm so very sorry. Please keep an eye out in early to mid September for more information or updates. Thanks guys, sorry to disappoint you ='(

Hello, all! I'm ninjawitch93, but you can call me Rin, for short!

About Me;

I'm 15, I love to write and I have an odd addiction to AriZona Green Tea! I don't really do much else, at least, it doesn't feel like I do. I'm pretty much a hermit and don't leave the house unless my mom (and recently my grandma) want me to do something with them. Or on the off chance one of my friends calls and wants to hang out (they know I'm a hermit too and usually we just talk online, lol). But I do enjoy reading other works by fellow author's on ficpress and I have to say while inspiring, it's kind of scary how many truly AMAZING people there are here! So many who should defiantly continue their work and hopefully they'll someday publish their stories! And I will own ALL of them! lol.

I don't really play any sports, though I used to play soccer and was suckered into trying cheerleading this past year (it sucked, all drama, I'll never do it again.) My favorite subjects are History and English, I don't really like Math 'cause I'm really bad at it (can't retain anything). As for Science, it really depends on what part we're discussing, but I don't dislike it by any means. I'm American, but I'm not one of those people who think we're the greatest country in the world. We've got a long way to go before we can ever even hope to claim that title. I think Lewis Black expresses it in the best way; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mCDZMWVWuc . Watch it, it's hysterical and in my opinion very accurate.

Hm, well, as for things I don't like...if I start on that we'll be here all day, but the three main issues for me are; discrimination, racism, and cruelty--both animal and human. I think people who support or commit these acts are the real problems in society. They merely blame their troubles on others because they can't handle their own problems. I personally don't want to listen to someone shoot off at the mouth about how much better they are than someone else because of their looks, sexuality, and race. I dislike stereotyping as well, but everyone does it at some point or another, it's impossible not to, no matter how hard you try to avoid it. I only bring this up because it seems to be a popular topic as well and I wanted to put my two cents in on the matter.

Religion is always a touchy subject. There are a lot of people who think their beliefs are the only ones and that everyone else should just think like they do. But, not everyone agrees with those people, and I admire the ones who don't conform to that way of thinking. There are many different belief systems out there, and they are all correct in their own ways, it's all in the way people interpret them. I only bring this up because (again it's a very common topic of discussion and argument) of what I'm about to say next. So, if you're one of those people who feels the need to "save" or "convert" everyone who doesn't think like you I have one thing to say to you; turn around and don't talk to me. I always try to be tolerant of other religions, but I won't tolerate someone else trying to shove their oppinion down my throat. So thank you in advance.

I am Pagan, Wiccan to be exact. Though by no means am I anywhere near being a full fledged witch. I still have a lot to learn and hope to broaden both my knowledge and skills involving the craft. I've been told though, that I'm very good (accurate) with Witch Cards. I'm currently working to improve my accuracy with Tarrot though I'm still not very good. Recently I got some great pointers from a very skilled reader (love ya Rissa!) and they helped me a lot. I also met a natural witch my age who is very talented in a lot of areas and knows quite a lot in all. She actually made me realize the limits of my own knowledge and inspired me to apply myself more and learn the methods and ways of Wicca. She's really accurate with them too, at least, that's what everyone else said. She didn't read me, but I'm sure it would have been accurate anyway.

I joined ficpress not only to post my stories, but to improve myself as a writer and learn from the other authors here. And so far, I've learned a lot! I currently have two works of fiction going, but sadly at this point they are both under renovations. (As the big "ATTENTION" section above states, hehe) I have also written one poem, I had more (that I REALLY liked) but unfortunately they were lost when my old computer crashed and I stupidly did not keep a copy anywhere. But what's done is done and the only way to improve is by moving on.

Well, I guess that's all really. I just wanted to make one last shout out to all of my friends, all of the ones I've met here and the one's outside of the computer! You guys have helped me tons both in my writing and in life! I'll miss our lunch group next year and those silly role-playing games we still play! I love you guys and, POWER TO HELLS ROCK CONCERTS, CANDYLAND WARS, and all of those weird looks we got from the 'cool kids' at lunch! haha! I think you guys have given me the confidence to start in a new school and a new town with a little more ease knowing I'll still have all of you amazing people back here!

Blessed Be!

Ja ne, for all you anime geeks like me!

And "See ya" to those who don't like either category; no offense meant with either comment. So chill and be happy! =D

Today I realized how truly odd my friends are. I mean they're total freaks! They're embarrassing, and load, and obnoxious! I LOVE YOU GUYS!! Power to Hell's rock concerts!!

Our definition of a Wiggle Room:

"The Wiggle Room is when you walk into a room with four middle-aged guys in it, and they start singing; 'Fruit Salad Yummy, Yummy' and one hits this really funny high note, and then you run out scarred for life!"~Laura
"It's that little bit of space at the front of your shoes that tells you if they fit right."~Me!

So, yeah, I guess that's all...when I think of some other random topic I'll add it. Hope you enjoy my stuff!

In progress;

Old Blood:Kaito is just your normal teenager; all angst and hormones. Actually, he's kind of a jerk. And if it weren't for the unnecessary fear for their faces, most people would tell you so. He's an orphan, living with his Aunt (with whom his relationship is strained, to put it lightly) and his Uncle, whose been a father to him since he was twelve. He likes music, he writes, irritates his Aunt some, tries to avoid fights in school, ignores the stares from people due to certain obnoxiously annoying features. And then he goes home to repeat it all again the next day. All in all, his life is blissfully boring. Actually, it would be perfect; if he never had to see his Aunt again and his parents were alive. Hell, if that were the case, he'd take the fights smiling. So, if he's mostly normal, albeit slightly troublesome, then why the hell can he suddenly jump bodies?! And what's this total bullshit being spouted about blood?

Failing Moon:Caelie is happy to be moving, odd as it may sound. Clear Falls had practically been her second home four years ago, and she'd always loved visiting. But, things are different now. The town she's living in doesn't resemble the happy place it was in her memories. Not to mention all of the strange animal sightings. Were wolves even native to Georgia?! She doesn't know and she doesn't want to find out. But, there's one question that won't leave her alone. Are these gloriously dangerous animals praying on her small town, or protecting it?

Ideas;

Untitled:Since before she could remember, Lydia had lived with her family in Whinshire; a small town just before the Heckling Woods. While beautiful, they are terrifyingly dangerous and are legend to be home to the world’s most frightening creatures. And it’s said that sometimes, if you listen hard enough you can hear them. Their songs, their laughter, their breathing…. Their screams. Most people don’t believe in those stories though, and Lydia was one of them. But now the children of the town are disappearing without a trace, and her sister is among one of the taken. A classmate of Lydia’s claimed that he’d seen a group of children wandering to the town's borders, though that was nonsense. Everyone knew not to step outside of the small wooden walls, the children especially. But a visitor, one of the few that come, claims to have seen the same thing. And Lydia is thrown into a mission to save the children on her own.

Cryan lives alone in the woods. He always has, as his condition makes it impossible to live among normal humans. And he’s fine with that, he likes his space anyway. But what’s with this girl wandering around? And how many times would he have to tell her to leave him alone?!

Any ideas you may have to assist me with any of these stories are welcome and appreciated!
