I've always thought there's two responsibilities for a reader. (Don't run away; this isn't a lecture.)

1) to form your OWN thoughts on whatever writing you happen to read. Don't always go with the writer's opinion, because literature can be (and will be) thought provoking. You're entitled to your own opinion; and

2) on this site, to review and say your thoughts. Help whoever put in the effort to post a story!
