Posted "Into the Sea"... had a vision while I was listening to music, so I took 20 minutes to conjure something. Hope it'll do for now until I find more inspiration, which has been running dry for awhile now.
From Yesterday: Posted "Through the Stalker's Mind" as a separate poem from the Lidless Anthology. It's one of my favorite works, so hopefully I can get your thoughts on it.

About my Writing and Poetry in General
I began writing poetry around mid-March of '03, after writing a sonnet for a Language Arts class, called "Something". I grew to really like writing these types of poems, so I went on to write about 10 more of these over the next couple months. (Only one of these sonnets remain on FP.net, called "Walk") This was around the time where I began exploring other types of poetry and evolving my skills in writing.
Nowadays, I can't really describe my writing style all that easily. I tend to freelance in poem structure, because I found four-line stanzas to be quite repetitive, and I wanted to turn a different direction from it. I also avoid rhyming whenever possible, because much of it can be easily forced. Being very descriptive about what you see in your mind or your life, and also mixing a lot of imagery and symbolism within it, can really make poetry as original as it can be. Normal poems I write usually take a few days to write, and are also written very late at night each day. This is the time of day where my mind really wraps up and conveys words much easier.
I like to expand my genres of poetry, but the two most focused areas I write in are Fantasy and Angst. I love writing poems within a phantasmal landscape, because they have the potential to really come to life and make you wonder at the same time. However, I do write a lot of angst, too, which sometimes reflects on my inner struggle and in life in general. Lesser topics I write on are nature and supernatural concepts, among others.
I look at poetry and see it as an art form, no matter how vague or simple it is. I know a lot of people who take poetry to be a sport, where poets are better than other poets, but in my opinion that mindset goes completely against the essence of poetry. When poets sit down and write what they feel in poetic form, it's poetry at any degree, where the only way it can be judged is on interpretation and how emotionally related you are to it. That's basically all I've got to say about that.
