Author has written 11 stories for Spiritual, General, Young Adult, Love, and Friendship. Presently living the life of an amateur writer: I'm an impoverished college student, impractical dreamer, after-midnight novel crafter, and avid coffee consumer. My obsessions lie with The Mortal Instruments series and Secondhand Serenade. I also really, really love Downton Abbey and Sweeney Todd. Confused? Me too... My Status: Senior in college! How this happened with my short attention span is beyond me...however, I now have three full summer months to write, edit, and create new stories. Expect a rapid shellfire of updates in the near future. (And truthfully, I couldn't be more excited about this!) I've been writing since I was in sixth grade, but I only recently started finishing novels and actually liking them. My plan is to self-publish, because I truly believe that is the way of the future. Plus publishers scare me. There, I said it. Anyway, I write just about anything. Right now, I primarily write YA novels and poetry. I know I am not the best writer and that I have tons of room to grow, but I'm learning. Like I said, I'm an amateur writer, but I strive to be better than that. My Stories: 1. Stars at Dawn- I will be publishing this summer if all bodes well. I'm planning a quick rewrite and a few final edits. Hopefully the finished book will be available for purchase in July! I have never self-published before, and am fully aware that the book will not be perfect, but I am anxious to put Annie and Todd to rest. Heaven knows they deserve it. But the cool news is that I have a marvelous cover photo designed by Irony'sFriend, a writer on this site. If the story sucks, at least the cover art is fabulous! 2. It Can't Get Any Worse, Can It?- I am slowly reposting this story on this website. I have edited the first draft once, but am aware that it is not perfect yet. I have a possible sequel in the works, so keep an eye out for a posting. The tentative title is: As Bad As It Gets. People have asked me if I am publishing ICGAWCI?, too, and the truth is that I'm considering self-publishing once I fix a few kinks. I will keep you posted. 3. The Witch of Embermore- I plan on completing this story in the next few weeks. Expect updates every other day! 4. I have various one-shots and future novels in the making. Hopefully I will get to all my ideas this summer! Philippians 4:13- "I can do all things through He, who gives me strength." "Because these days aren't easy like they have been once before. These days aren't easy anymore." -Why, Secondhand Serenade Note: I'm not sure how often this happens through Fictionpress, but I think this is worth sharing: Today, I met a fellow FP writer whose stories I've read for almost a year now! We did not know each other until we started reviewing one another's writing. Her name is Irony'sFriend, and she has many marvelous stories to tell! I now consider her a dear friend, and I'm so glad that after all this time swapping anonymous PMs and finding out that we live four hours apart, that we finally got to meet in person! So check out her work! It's sort of 100% brilliant! :) | |||||
