Author has written 4 stories for Romance, General, Haiku, and Fantasy.

Hello there! I'm Aisling's Dream, but you can call me Aisling. I am a serious writer, although unfortunately I do not have much time to write during school. I have completed a series of 8 stories which I am not going to post because I wrote them a year ago and they are bad in every sense of the word. I'm currently working a few stories, so please stop by a review. It is much appreciated.

About Me
I have gone by a variety of names online, which include names I like and names of characters. If you know me by any of these other names already feel free to use them, or if you prefer to call me by them, be my guest. They include Sere (my main character in Changes), Liz (short and simple), Mari (a fantasy character from long ago), and Sara (I love that name). I became serious about writing in 7th grade - before that, I hated writing. My first story reached 20 hand-written pages before I left it on a train and was about a mary-sue character named Catherine. Since then, I've written four or five unfinished stories, the longest at sixty typed pages - but I abandoned them all. I also wrote a series of eight relatively short stories a few years ago, but I won't post them because they... are bad.

Writing-wise, I tend to write in alternative universes (AU's) - like the universe created for Changes. I don't usually write magic because I don't like coming up with rules for it, although I have in the past and I still might in the future. I don't write that much poetry - stories are my main thing.

The Works

The Path to Discovery
Adventure/Fantasy. The first in what may either be a duet or trilogy. Or maybe a quartet, if I get really ambitious. But I think duet and trilogy are much more likely. This is the first story in a while that I've finished that was just written for fun. I definitely don't think it's incredibly well-done; the ending especially is undeveloped and rushed, because I was eager to move on to the sequel. I do plan on going back to it sometime and making the plot more fully developed, and I appreciate critique!

Changes
Completed romance/adventure. I wrote it a while ago for the Escape Princess Story Challenge. Thus, it may seem a bit rushed as I had to cater to a word limit of 10000 words (and I believe it's even a little bit over). Now I'm posting it on FictionPress because I want a wider audience for it so I can receive more critiques. Thanks for all reviews and encouragement! I need a better title than that though, so suggestions are needed and welcomed.

An End to Pain
Another story written for an Escape challenge. This time, the word limit was 250 words (it was a short narrative challenge) and I fit it exactly. I'm sorry because I wish I could have added more description but I ended up cutting about 300 words to make it fit. ;) It really was a challenge for me to capture the emotion in such a short piece so I would appreciate comments on it.

On Hiatus

Untitled - Sequel to Changes
I'm writing this write now, so hopefully I'll have at least three chapters done by the time I finish posting Changes here. While it is a sequel, you probably won't hear much about Don and Sere until the planned third story. ;)

I met him on a walk
This is the only story I have (currently) that isn't for a challenge or contest of some kind. Right now it's just the prologue and first chapter, and yes, it is a tad cliche, but I hope to change that in the next few chapters. (You'll probably have to deal with at least another cliche chapter, Sorry). Thanks so much to those who have reviewed it and offered comments - it's the first work of its kind that I have attempted and I'm going to need lots of feedback.

Beta Reading

I'm really busy right now, so I'm just no longer active in Beta. If you befriend me however, I may be more open to a request.
