On top of that, Seb is forced to live with his two sisters; Sabrina and Torrie. Sabrina is Seb's stuck-up twin sister who is his polar opposite and Torrie is their twenty-four year old legal guardian who is an extreme airhead. Lastly Seb has to deal with the school jerk, Jack Mason whose out to get him and his friends. Nevertheless, Seb manages to pull through his stressful life.

Shane Clark has been the object of ridicule by his father all his life. When his mother is killed, Shane is suddenly disowned by his father and sent to live in a small town with his aunt, Terri Hanson. Initially Shane shows hostility towards everyone, unable to cope with his new life. With his sister estranged, his mother dead, and his father disowning him, Shane feels he has nothing. He shows bitter regret, due to the fact that no one knows who was responsible for his mother's death. After a while, Shane becomes extremely well-known in his new school, despite the fact that no one knows about his current situation. When he meets Mila, he slowly, but surely begans to open up. Even with all the changes Shane starts to go through, his primary motive is to find his mother's murderer.
