Hey! You might know me as SapphirexBlue on DeviantART, or Sylvera on Fanfiction.net. (Although if you know one of those, it's probably my DeviantART account, as I haven't been on FF.net for very long.)
I found out about this site when it was mentioned in the terms of agreement for Fanfiction.net. I figured, well, I don't just write fanfiction, so I decided that I'd sign up here, too.
(I was also hoping to find better stories here. To be honest, most of the stuff on FF.net is crap. I figured that there wouldn't be nearly as much of that here. I'll find out over time if my prediction is true or not.)
If you're wondering about my name (which you probably are), Elrae is a fantasy world I've been working on. I've got a lot of it worked out, but, of course, I'll never really be finished. Something like that isn't the sort of thing where you work for a while and then say "OK, I'm done." You keep tweaking it, working on it, changing things and making them better. If you're interested in Elrae, go to my DeviantART page. It has a map, and drawings of almost all of the races of beings that live there. The drawings aren't that great, but they give you an idea of what everything looks like. (Not to mention that my gallery has lots and lots of dragons. :D )
Now, I've written a few stories (mostly short one-shots) that take place in Elrae. And I plan to do many more in the future. This will most likely be the majority of what I post here. Thus, the name Elrae-Chronicler. :)
