I'm a girl.

I am super girly in every sense of the word. I'm a total brand-whore and spend way too much money at Sephora. My secret love is the Starbucks' mocha latte and without one, my day does not start. My favorite shows are GG and the Hills -- and no, I don't give a crap if that makes me seem dumb or superficial. TV is made for entertainment. Gossip Girl and the Hills entertain me. 'Nuff said.

I'm slightly obsessed with: clothes, shoes, my laptop, my cosmetics, my room, my friends, my i-pod, my sharpies, and my numerous magazine subscriptions. I love to read anything -- though, if we're talking about purely for pleasure reading, my Cosmogirl's the one thing I absolutely LOVE to read.

I hate that being a "girly-girl" often is stereotyped as being 'dumb', 'stupid', 'superficial', 'shallow', etc. Luckily, I'm not a blonde, so I can't be stereotyped even further. But seriously, it bugs me that somehow I'm deemed inferior intellectually to other girls...even though my grades are not bad.

I'm currently in high-school, but can't wait to get out.

PS. For those of you who are curious about my pen name, 'Cali' comes from 'California' which is my favorite place on Earth (I don't live there, unfortunately -- I'm stuck on the East Coast -- but I've been there and love it) and 'Noir' is just a word I happen to love the sound of. I take French classes, and 'Noir' is French for black. So, that's basically it. I thought of my pen name kind of like an actual name with Cali as the first name and Noir as the last name.
