Hi! My name's Emma but you can call me Ebony! I come from England (not giving any more info) and I'm between 13 and 16 (not giving any more info)...
I've wanted to be a writer since I was very small. I'm not sure what's so appealing about it but when I work it out, I'll let you know. Maybe it's the way you can create a whole new world without needing loads of special equiptment. The only thing you need is a mind. You don't even need a pen and paper to make up a story. I find it quite easy to make up one in my head.
I'm not too good at challenges. If I'm given a prompt or a specific subject, my story is never as good as it would be if I just made it all up myself with no limitations. After all, isn't it wonderful to be able to write without limitations? That's the good thing about writing - as long as you have imagination then anything is possible! You can follow any idea and write whatever takes your fancy and when it's your story, if you want to put something in it, then you put it in!
I am bad at updating. I tend to write a lot but forget to finish/rewrite/update bits here and there. I don't write each chapter in order - I just write what comes to my mind, whenever and then slot it into the story somehow. Recently, I've been getting better at making plans for my work, though. Now I actually know what's going to happen in my stories! HA! I don't write them in order, though...
