Author has written 4 stories for Romance, Fantasy, and General. Name: QuartzQuill (née All-The-Rest). Laugh all you want at my horridly girlish name. D: Gender: If my gender isn't all that obvious, I'd better put up a huge announcement sign. Age: Recently hit six centuries. Interests: Reading (!), Writing (double !), playing the piano, composing, good food, nature, fresh spring mornings and afternoons, a lazy summer dusk, crisp winter dawns, rustic autumn evenings...in short, good weather. I am a human magpie. I adore shiny things, and I really don't care what they're worth, as long as they're clean and they glitter. :) Dislikes: Mary-Sues. Stories with basically no grammar or recognizably original plot that get hundreds of 'SQUEE UR OMG SO AWSM! UPDATE SOON!' reviews. Mary-Sues. People that sugarcoat reality. Books that sell like proverbial hotcakes, when they are, in fact, trash (that's a popular one). Have I mentioned Mary-Sues? Music I like: Classical music (Bach, Liszt, Schubert, Chopin & various others), John Williams, Hans Zimmer, music from anime, game soundtracks (Jade Cocoon, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts), Yuki Kajiura, Yoko Kanno, Utada Hikaru, Yiruma, Loreena Mckennitt, Blackmore's Night, the Corrs, Kelly Clarkson and Enya. Geez, that's varied... Books I Recommend To You: Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, The Lymond Chronicles (this is the type of series that should have a murderous, kamikaze-like following), Runemarks, A Pack of Lies, Deltora, and (this isn't really a book), writings by Edgar Allan Poe. :) PAGEBREAKSWILLNOTSHOWUP 15/09/09: I posted another oneshot! Yipee for me. :) It's about a character that should have been elaborated on from one of the most famous fairy-tales of all time. I always wanted to screw with the story of Snow White. >:) Well, school's started a while ago, and I'm actually getting ready to leave at the moment. --sigh-- Review this time, will you? I wonder where my readers have gone. Oh, well. I love writing stuff like B & W and Fragments, so they're not going to disappear any time soon. :D See you goofs around~! | |||||||
