"Writing is a cop-out. An excuse to live perpetually in fantasy land, where you can create, direct and watch the products of your own head. Very selfish." - Monica Dickens

ALL THE STORIES POSTED ARE MY OWN, THEY ARE COMPLETE ORIGINALS!

My Stories.

- OneShot

The Walk: Life or Death
Not much to say, I just had an idea one night and decided to write it real quick. One shot.
Summary: A man walked down a busy sidewalk on his way home after a long Saturday at work. He was not a special man, nor was he exceedingly smart, wealthy, outgoing or famous. This man is faced with a choice, what will he decide?
Complete - General - Fiction Rated: K - General/Spiritual - Chapters: 1 - Words: 1,257

On the Outside
Story about two brothers and their struggle against the walls and masks they have built up against the world. I woke up at 5:45 the Saturday morning after Christmas of '08 and couldn't get to sleep because this story was burning in my mind. I finally got up and wrote it. I swear, I did nothing but write the entire day until I went to bed at midnight. I got so tired of writing all day and almost gave up the story, but pushed through and was able to finish. Thanks to my mom for editing out the enormous amount of errors in the story. It took her over a week to edit, if that tells you how bad I was. I'll have a picture of Will and Jayden on my deviantArt profile. You can see it here.
Summary: I have used a front my whole life; I bottle things up inside in favor of keeping a calm and collected front. Sometimes though, masks are more hurtful to myself and to others than they are helpful. However, I'm not sure this habit is one I can do without.
Complete - Young Adult - Fiction Rated: K - English - Family/Hurt/Comfort - Chapters: 1 - Words: 8314

Blame It On the Weatherman (new!)
Just a little bit of randomness from my very own brain and a way to procrastinate the things my mother asks me to do.
Summary: One word...BOOM. -Random oneshot-

Complete - Young Adult - Fiction Rated: K+ - English - General/Adventure - Chapters: 1 - Words: 915

- MultiChapter

No Father of Mine
THis story is way longer than I had first anticipated. I didn't want to start another full-length story, just take a breather from the other stories I am writing. Cheh- the story is what it is, I might as well resign myself to following the current in which it presents. At least now I know not to start a new story until I finish another, else I may end up adding another WIP to my list. Beta-ed by Lavender Quill!
Summary: Father, what father? How can you call a man who shamelessly kills, finds joy in the torture of others, and thrives on punishing and making his eldest son miserable be called a father?
Young Adult - Fiction Rated: T - Family/Drama

That Which Is Death
My biggest work yet, the story I wrote for NaNoWriMo in 2008. That said, you know it will be at least 50,000 words; enjoy!
Summary: True, he didn't die in the sense that he is no longer in the world, but he died in the sense that he's no longer a part of it. He had made a deal, one that would allow him to come back to life in exchange for becoming Death. NaNoWriMo '08.
Complete - Romance - Fiction Rated: T - Romance/Angst

Blinded by Life
I'm going to start posting this story now because I'm churning out the chapters pretty quickly now. I will probably not stick to a certain schedule, so if you want to read the new chapters when I post them, I advise you to add it to your Story Alert list. I hope you like it a lot, because I've had a ton of fun writing it! I would really, really like to hear your thoughts on it. It's nice to get feedback from a piece that you've been working on for a long time. Below is a short preview.
Summary: My life has been relatively good. I grew up in an orphanage with my best friend and was happy with my life. Things can change though, dramatically and without warning.
Young Adult - Fiction Rated: T - Family/General

Sky is Blue (info. coming soon!)
Although the story is coming along at a snail's pace, I've drawn some pictures for this story to help keep my inspiration up and spark some interesting ideas. For those of you who are part of an online art community, you may have heard of the 100 Themes Challenge. I am trying to partake in this and plan to base all 100 themes off of this story. It should be fun, and it will be a nice visual counterpart to the written story. :B
