Favorite Sayings:

"You need to get some good friends and hang out with them on the weekends like every other normal teenager." - my sister

"Many people hear voices when no one is there. Some of them are called mad and are shut up in rooms where they stare at the walls all day. Others are called writers and they do pretty much the same thing." - Meg Chittenden

"...a prankster would give you a wedgy by firmly grasping the back of your panties/tighty whities (this action has no gender prejudice, although it has the potential to be more painful for the male than female) and pulling up swiftly until said undergarment is firmly and uncomfortably seated in the crevice therin. Until one can then engage in the remedy (comonly known as "picking your seat") it is a bit unsettling. A more forceful application of the same movement will nearly destroy the garment and apply great pain to the wearer and is termed a "Melvin." I can only surmise that thongwearers have overcome the natural human aversion to the feeling of wedgyness. I havn't seen any definitive research on that, however..." - KareNeko

"If the writer has a masterpiece within, he had better save it on paper. Otherwise, none of us will ever miss it." - Steve Martini

"The true genius shudders at incompleteness - and usually prefers silence to saying something which is not everything it should be." - Edgar Allen Poe

"Writing is a cop-out. An excuse to live perpetually in fantasy land, where you can create, direct and watch the products of your own head. Very selfish." - Monica Dickens

"...the most sophisticated piece of technology you will ever pee on." - pregnancy test commercial

National Novel Writing Month

I am a participator of NaNoMriMo this year! Visit my profile, http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/411778

For the month of November all stories will be put on hold as I work on writing a 50,000 word novel in one month. I may be able to find time to update profile and what not, but don't expect anything great, aka: to start posting Blinded By Life. If all goes well, and I actually finish my story, I am hoping to post it on FictionPress. The story in called That Which Is Death and is a kind of new age, spiritual, romance novel - figures. If you want to find out more, click the link above to visit my NaNoWriMo profile where there is information about my story (Title, Synopsis, Excerpt, and Book Cover), and follow my progress during NaNoWriMo!

Join the Fun!

My sister and I are going to work on a story together and I would like to invite everyone to join in! Basically, I found this writing assignment on the Internet which teachers would use to assign to their student, but I thought, why not use the assignment and make a story out of it? So my sister and I are going to complete the story from the perspective of a fictional student who may have written the assignment. The writing assignment is basically a multi-chapter book of the students memories, although the cool thing about it is that no matter how many people create a story, they will all be different! So I would like to send an invitation out to all of you. I can send you the assignment and then you can write your story. There is no deadline, although my sister and I are going to complete our stories by New Years. I will list all the participators and the links to their stories, and, hopefully, we'll end up with a whole class-full of memories!

If you would like to write with us, simply send me a message that includes the following:
-FictionPress Pen Name
-your profile address (i.e. http:// www. fictionpress .com/u/id number)

My Stories.

The Walk: Life or Death
Not much to say, I just had an idea one night and decided to write it real quick. One shot.
Summary: A man walked down a busy sidewalk on his way home after a long Saturday at work. He was not a special man, nor was he exceedingly smart, wealthy, outgoing or famous. This man is faced with a choice, what will he decide?
Complete - General - Fiction Rated: K - General/Spiritual - Chapters: 1 - Words: 1,257

No Father of Mine (new!)
As you can imagine, or have experienced in the past, working on multiple stories, namely four at a time, can be quite stressful and exhausting. Normally I spend every spare moment thinking about future ideas for one of my four stories and type one of them with the small amount of free time I have. Moving on, this story came to me as I was zoning out during school, as all good students should, and I decided I would write a quick story just to clear my mind. I hope that you'll enjoy it and i would expecially like to read your thoughts and opinions about the story! Cheh- the story is what it is, I might as well resign myself to following the current in which it presents.
Summary: Father, what father? How can you call a man who shamlessly kills, finds joy in the torture of others, and thrives on punishing and making his eldest son miserable be called a father? A Life, A Punishment, A Trade, A Friend, A Recollection...
Young Adult - Fiction Rated: T - Family/Drama - Chapters: - Words:

A Précis of Red (new!)
This is a short writing assignment that I completed for English 10 and talks about a Christian band named Red and how they got to the point they are in their musical career.
Summary: How the band Red grew in their musical career.
Complete - Essay - Fiction Rated: K - General - Chapters: 1 - Words: 182

Blinded by Life (coming soon)
I've changed my mind, sorry I'm so undecicive, but Ill wait until after I post That Which Is Death in rough. Ill probably begin editing that as I post this story. Anyways, I wanted to go back and revise the chapters a little, see if I can't make them any better. I cant promise any specific dates when I start uploading chapters, because I would rather take my time and write this story well rather than rush through it just to get it posted. I'll give you a little sample as a teaser :)

Beep.

I wondered where I was; I couldn’t see anything – my head was wrapped with white, disinfected bandages.

Beep.

I could tell I was in a hospital, the sterile smell was suffocating.

Beep.

I heard a door open and quietly close, then soft footsteps. There was a sigh and then a pop next to my bed, the sound of a soda can being opened.

Beep.

The man laughed light-heartedly. “I never would have thought that we would meet this way..."

The Life of One So Insignificant (coming soon)
yeah im excited! im getting ready to write my first real story for ficpress!( I guess its not really my first anymore :D) As of right now im working on four different stories, so id like to finish at least one of them up before i start on this one, but i have the basic plot and idea in my head so it should start pretty quickly! BE EXCITED! (that's an order!)

(possible story)
I might make a one-shot story that has (what i think) a very unique perspective and plot. It's mainly about a kid that when he talks, no one listens to or replies to. The story would take you through a day in his life and at the end, a certain, important fact is revealed that makes you say, "Wow." and makes your mind rethink the whole story. I think it is going to be a really cool story, but I wouldn't start it until after 1.) No Father of Mine, 2.) After the month of NaNoWriMo ends, and 3.) I finish typing and editing That Which Is Death(my NaNo story).

(possible story)
basically this story would pull you into the perspective and emotions of a young child with an abusive mother. i havn't really thought that much on this story yet, so it has lots of room for change and expansion, but I think this would be the jist of the story.
