Hello there readers!

My name is Kat and I am a seventeen year old girl from the US. I live a pretty non-descript life and therefore tend to submerge myself into the mystical land of books which is just so easy to do. I've always adored reading and I guess it only makes sense to my that the passion I have for words makes me want to be a writer. As a hormonal teenage girl of course I'm obsessed with love but not false love I like the real thing. Whatever that it I haven't a clue. With all hope I'll either spend my life doing one of my two passions; writing or acting and I plan to do these things at a University in London. I am fully aware that I write in run on sentences and have the awful tendency to update far too erratically which is why I like posting here. I truly, truly do enjoy getting feedback from you lovelies, readers. I like knowing what you think so it means a ton to me when you can review and give me your thoughts good or bad. I'm also aware that I do a terrible job with that whole grammar nonsense. So if anyone wants to help me out with that I'd honestly adore you. Love to hear from any and all of you about any and everything!

Rotten Apples: This is a story that has been in the making for over a year now because when I first started penning this away it was just a side project to release some pent up writer's block. Plus, I was too young and naive to really pursue a story that is going to so focus on what a seventeen year old girl in the midst of altering her very persona must feel like. I was too immature to consider writing the sexual side and too naive to understand the drug and alcohol side. Now I'm not saying that I do a bunch of drugs and go have wild crazy sex but I live in a small town not too terribly far from Virginia Beach and I understand peer pressure. I also understand rising above it maybe not personally but in terms of Mickey I want her story to be something that people shouldn't emulate. It's romance but it's also more than that, I want to ween off the romance further in and bring in the darker side of teenagers and their intentions. It's not totally a love story but a story of Mickey becoming who she becomes with romance as a leading factor. I don't want it to be sappy.

However I completely take suggestions and hope that people will read and enjoy my story. I'm trying very hard for one of my friends to 'de-girly' my writing so please help and bear with me.
