A bit about me, your one and only Seoul Woman:

-Name: Megan

-Age: 16 (almost 17 already! - My birthday's in January ; )

-Loves: Phantom of the Opera!, Memoirs of a Geisha, writing, the beach, Manhattan!, independence, big cities, Poseidon (the movie, not the mythological god), peace, hippies, fashion, songs with an actual meaning, freedom, dogs, beauty, sleeping, friends, the environment, vegetarianism, ChapStick, romance movies, fairytales, history, revolution of the government, Barack Obama, France.

-Hates: school, cleaning, parents, working, chemistry!, bad grammar, horror movies, Latin grammar, clingy people, conservatives, the President, our government officials (excluding Obama), talking about feelings, my English teacher from sophmore year.

I'm really not an analytical person. Honestly, I'm not. But lately, that's all I've been doing. For the past year, I've picked apart every book I've read, trying to understand everything about writing. That's because when I first wanted to write, I was one of those people who just jumped right into the story. I threw character development, plot development, and themes right out the window without a second thought. For about two years, I thought writing was nothing; all you had to do was have a simple idea, and BAM! - you have a best-seller.

Boy did I experience a rude awakening later down the road.

I had notebooks upon notebooks of failed stories because they had no foundation - no development. But thankfully, no one has been subjected to reading that kind of torture... My earlier stories could have been the demons in an English teacher's nightmare.

However, I'm proud to say that I've improved, or at least I think I have. =D
