Author has written 51 stories for Family, Life, Romance, Friendship, Humor, Love, General, Essay, Song, War, and General. You know, Instead of falling asleep after every weary day, And acting out your fantasies in silent lies and dreams -that no one else will ever see, or hear, or know- Why don't you try to wake up and live them out? Words I Like At The Moment: "Can you forgive me again?" ~(Guess. It's in the quote) First and foremost, I'm a die-hard stubborn and opposites-attract couple fan- something about those pairings just make me addicted :) My account on fanfition is http://www.fanfiction.net/~mynameisfoxglove Name(s): They call me Kari, Foxglove, Mo, Meso and that's all the selection you'll need. Gender: I'm female if you haven't already guessed. Age: Age doesn't matter when you're writing- in other words; not telling! :P Personality: Well, apparently I'm kind, motherly and influential- I have no idea why though, I personally think I'm a stubborn, too-smart-to-be-normal, hothead. I adore animals, even snakes (and I love to wave at the komodo dragon in London Zoo). I'd enjoy an occasional scuffle/play fight every once in awhile, but apparently I'm now too old for it (-_-;;), and even though I flinch when people are arguing I like to debate as well, because I enjoy finding reasons and justifications for actions/beliefs; I despise politics. I don't like parks much because all that empty space seems unnatural to me somehow, I LOVE woods and mountains. Oh and I'm also the worst procrastinator this side of the hemisphere. Period. Favourite colours: All of them really, though I admit to showing a little favouritism to dark blue, dark green and grey (yes, grey, I like the colour, so what?). Favourite music: Stuff by Linkin park, Nickelback, Backstreet Boys, Jesse McCartney, Rascal Flatts, Yellow Card, Avril Lavigne, DBSK, Superchick, The Fray, Kelly Clarkson, Simple Plan and probably a lot more singers/bands I haven't mentioned... I like lyrics that have emotional meanings to them and don't like slow drawn-out songs much, but once in awhile they're okay. Things I LOVE: My parents, my friends, my fav. anime, books, manga, music, my cockatoo Leyla, my baby cousin, colourful stones, animals, Things I HATE: Jokes about rape, racism, prejudice, undeserved sad endings, over-cheesiness, atrocious grammar... Not necessarily in that order. Coming Soon(er or Later): I'm planning a sort of fantasy/romance called 'Ghosts of a Fairytale' but I warn you when I say I'll probably be twisting it a lot, so don't judge from the title! Teaser: There's no such thing as white magic or black magic. There is just magic. And when you use magic, for whatever reason, for whatever purpose...you are bound to it, and your fate is sealed. Say your goodbyes, Red, because you're never coming back home again. Now in progress: Le gasp! She's actually posted a story! Yep, the previously advertised 'Caffeine and Strawberries' (pretty much completely changed and with a new title), now 'Coffee and Strawberries' is up. I'm shocked too. Prologue's down thataway if you're interested, and chapters 1-? are in the works. Hoping to update soon. Reviews are love. Quotes From Authors, Poets, Actors, Leaders etc. "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying 'I will try again tomorrow'." George Weinberg Quotes From Me, my friends, my family etc. Ruqi: Just look at him! He's GAWJUSH!! Me: ...gawjush? IM conversation with my best girl-friend Dad: (stares suspiciously at his completely vegetable only salad) You don't think this has 500 calories in it, do you? Me and Mom: (stare) Dad: (panicking) Do you!? Mom: It's a SALAD! Me: I'll eat my fork if it has 100 calories! Dad: +still stares doubtfully at the salad+ Me: AND my spoon! Dinner conversation when Dad was dieting. "Only you. Only YOU, Mom, would make us nearly miss the plane so you could buy POMEGRANATES!" Me angry at Mom for obvious reasons. Rain: Alright, for me to forgive you, you have to sing 'I'm a barbie girl' wearing my pink sweater, recorded by my mobile phone in front of the whole class. Me: (fake-fainted at 'barbie girl') A disturbing conversation on the bus "Y'know the best thing about being a writer? You can get your characters to do and say what you can't." Me, before laughing maniacally Quotes From Manga, Anime, Books and Movies "It's extremely difficult when one has too many things one treasures. At times, if one wants something, it can only be achieved by sacrificing something else... The most important thing is to have a heart." -Shaman king manga, ch 162 "...I don't believe it. My head hasn't been ripped off. And my sunglasses are intact. Amen. Hallelujah. "-Heroes of The Valley, Jonathon Stroud " Halli ventured a whisper "You know what I think that was? I think the wind dislodged a biggish stone, which rumbled abruptly down a cairn, giving the uncanny illusion of a sinister and stealthy footstep." "You dont think that at all, do you?" "No. How fast can you hop?" "-Heroes of The Valley, Jonathon Stroud 'He heard the thrill in her voice, he saw her earnest face, he saw her clear true eyes, he saw the quickined bossom that would have joyfully thrown itself before him to recieve a mortal wound directed at his breast, with the dying cry 'I love him!' and remotest suspicion of the truth never dawned upon his mind.' -Little Dorrit, Charles Dickens (Oh you dense idiot...) ' "Listen," said Arthur, very seriously. "This man, as we have read here, has wholly disappeared." "Of it I am well content!" said Cavalletto, raising his eyes piously. "A thousand thanks to Heaven! Accursed assassin!" "Not so," returned Clennam; "for until something more is hear of him, I can never know an hour's peace." "Enough, Benefactor; that is quite another thing. A million of excuses!" ' -Little Dorrit, Charles Dickens (I just love Cavalletto!! He's such a funny Italian!) ' "Oh, don't sulk, please," begged Victor, with much melodrama. "You are allowed to love a princess. It is every young man's duty to fall head over heels with a princess. You are lucky enough to actually have one to hand." ' -Airman, Eoin Colfer And, apparently, a quote I'm very well-known for: "ACK! -Insert friend's name- Are you okay?! Are you hurt?! It's not bleeding is it?!" ...I don't know whether I should be happy it's not my former sarcastic quote or annoyed that this is all my friends can think off. :P :) So, that's it; anyone want to chat, argue, comment, or request anything PM me, k? :) | |||||||||
