10/8/09: So, because of school & work & having no life, I haven't been able to write much (AT ALL) or update any of my stories (read: Fearless & ADS) for over a month. Expect an update this weekend, hopefully, depending on how it goes. I have a lot of homework, I'm working Fri & Sat night, and I have to go to a funeral on Saturday morning. So we'll see how it goes. At least one story is expected to be updated this weekend. Sorry about the delay, guys. I hate breaking promises to you all. I'm going to try to work on the next chapters, as well, tomorrow night, for FL & ADS. I'm too tired tonight. Thanks for sticking with me, and expect something soon. (:

Story Updates: 8/25/09

A Different Side-
ABOUT: A writing project I started in mid-February at midnight (when I write best). I had a slight idea, and felt an urge to write, so I pulled out my notebook (the one Frankie: LTLG is in), and started writing. Since then, I've gotten a somewhat solid plot down.
SUMMARY: "Who is that?" Steve asked. "She doesn't look like she belongs here." - "Hello, Princess," Steven smirked, his fire back in his eyes. Randi's eyes narrowed. "That's nice," she said. "If I'm the princess, does that make you the frog or the ugly stepsister?" (FYI: I hate this Summary. So it WILL be changed.. Soon. Hopefully!)

Fearless-
ABOUT: Another writing project that I had an idea for in the beginning of February.
SUMMARY: Meet Reese Andrews: a smart, independent, beautiful dancer. And then there's Cayden Matthews, your typical arrogant, golden boy, star MVP hockey player, also known as a slacker. Reese is organized, neat, and a hardworker, three things that Cayden is definitely not, unless you count working hard on the ice. Cayden is one of those boys whos pants are too low, and whos head is too big. Put the two together and you get tutoring, fears, mistakes, papers, unexpected happenings, and pasts that just won't go away.

Frankie: Learning to Let Go-
ABOUT: This is the first story of the "Learning To" Series. I hope you'll enjoy this story. I did. Now, I'm just along for the ride. Read the summary and the prologue to understand what this story is about. The summary, honestly, isn't the best. Summaries are not my forte. But I'm trying. So please R&R. It's a true story, for the most part.
UPDATES: I've hit a block. I have the second chapter written, but haven't put it up yet. I don't think it's really good. So right now, I'm taking a break and hoping that once I go back, it'll be better.
UPDATE: 6/14 - I am completely, 100 over Frankie now. Which makes me think "F: LTLG" will be easier to write, that is, if I keep with it. Now that I'm over him, and I realize how much this kid has changed, for the worse, I'm figuring I don't even know if I want to continue with this story. I don't know him anymore, and honestly, I feel like I never did. I haven't worked on any of the other "LTLG" series, and I'm thinking I should. I just recently figured out what the meaning of 'letting go' was, and how to do so. I'm actually pretty proud of myself for leaving it all behind. I still don't know how my "Frankie" story will end, and I still have random "Frankie Moments" when something weird happens, but I've learned to move on. And I think that's what the story was supposed to mean, what the story was supposed to be about. So maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to write it the right way now, contrary to the wrong way.. The way where I'm still falling for him. That's not the right way.
UPDATE: 7/9 - Saw Frankie at the mall. It was weird. :P Started writing this one again. I'll try and get the next chapter up whenever I can. Lots of heavy editing is needed, though.

Doing Life Differently (Working Title)-
ABOUT: So I started this one the other night. And I actually kind of like it. I have two and 1/4 chapters down. And I've already typed up the first. This one may be posted soon, actually. It's kind of cliche, like everything else I write, but I'm hoping it'll turn out alright.
POSTING: Once I get five or six more chapters down, I plan on posting this.
UPDATE: 8/13 - Since I've started actually working on Fearless, this one has been ...unworked on? I can no longer say DLD is one of my main ones now. Honestly, I got bored with it. Or well, not bored with it, but confused. I didn't like the message it was sending, so I stopped. I'll probably start working on it again, though, soon.

I Have the Slogan: Not a Real Title, just a Working Title-
ABOUT: I really don't know what I'll be calling this one. It's currently barely written. The plot has been written down. Oh, and I got the "slogan" down, too. Heh, but I won't be sharing that until I decide if I'm keeping with this one. All I'll share is it's loosely based off of Taylor Swift's song, My Oh My (Mary's Song). It's a really good song, and I had some random idea last month for a plot for a story. So yeah.
POSTING: Depending of if I keep with it, once I get a nice eight chapters down, I'll post it.
UPDATE: 8/13 - Bumped back down. Fearless is actually being working on now.

Changing Lanes: You Guessed it, a Working Title-
ABOUT: Girl likes guy, guy is a jerk. Other guy likes girl, girl likes the first guy. Oh snap. Okay, yeah, that's not the real summary, obviously. (If it were, I would so be a terrible writer. Heh.) But I have not started writing this one yet, either. (I'm really bad with getting them started, yeah?) I have the plot written out (on four pieces of paper; Go Me!), and the character's names. But that's it. No title (the working title does have something to do with it this time, though), no outline, nothing. Just the plot. If I continue with this, I think it'd be a bit of a cliche. (Good or bad thing, I don't know..) This is probably the least solid of my future projects right now. D:
POSTING: Keep with it = eleven chapters. If I don't keep with it, but I write some chapters, I may post them because I like the idea. Hehe.
UPDATE: 8/13 - Not started. Maybe keeping. We'll see. End of story for now.
