Hello!
So... a bit about me:
My name is Alexis, and I'm an Aquarius.
Oh, and by the way I lied. My name isn't Alexis, but for all goods and purposes (anonymity from stalkers and paedophiles that is!) I'll go by that non de plume. I'm adding this because if any teacher of mine happens to stumble across my work, they'll know that the "real-life me" hasn't stolen it. I plan on adding various pieces I've had to give in for school, so if you're my teacher, speak with me next time I see you and I can clear up the misunderstanding! But to be clear, I am an Aquarius.
Writing encompasses so many aspects of life. I sometimes think of the writer as being someone who, by the power of a little thing called the "imagination" can zoom off to worlds no spaceship can reach quite yet (give them time I suppose). But sometimes I'm unsatisfied with this belief in a dormant human ability, so then I start thinking of the writer as a pioneer on a grand adventure. Sometimes, when despairing that all of the adventures have already been had, and the frontiers surpassed, I remind myself that there are still many worlds in our universe unvisited, characters unexplored and times forgotten. Not to mention alternative universes to ponder! So always seek to maintain integrity even when writing from within in the realms of fantasy, and remember that if you steal my intellectual property, I will be very grumpy. Infuriated, even. Just don't do it, okay? :)
3/9/08: I'm so sorry if I'm a bit late in answering any PMs or reviews etc, Real Life is just a bit hectic at the moment. And also, apologies if I am usually a regular reviewer and have been slacking on my duties lately. Exams, you know?
